Is someone in Amy Winehouse’s life trying to rid her of all temptation, or is her mother-in-law just stirring up trouble? Blake Fielder-Civil’s mother, Georgette is telling the British media that someone is trying to use her son to put out a hit on Amy’s dealer.

Georgette Civil told News of the World: “He said a man close to Amy offered him £5,000 to find a hitman to remove a certain dealer from Amy’s life.”

Mum-of-three Georgette said Blake, who was in London’s Pentonville for GBH and perverting justice, refused.

“He told the man: ‘No way. You’re mad.’ He’s since received threatening messages from the same man and fears he may turn the tables on him. He has to be very careful in prison and needs to be protected.”

I suppose Amy’s father could have done this in his desperate fight to save his daughter, but it’s more plausible that the MIL is just being a giant pain the ass.
