Scarlett Johansson has been bragging ’bout having a “personal dialogue” with Barack Obama. But the Presidential hopeful is downplaying his “email relationship” with the actress.

She told Politico: “You’d imagine that someone like the senator who is constantly traveling and constantly ‘on’ - how can he return these personal emails? But he does, and in his off-time I know he also calls people who have donated the minimum to thank them.”

But Mr. Obama goes on to distance himself more from ScarJo by telling reporters that she does not even have his personal email address, and that the one email communication between the two was forwarded to him by his assistant.

“she sent one email to [my assistant] Reggie [Love], who forwarded it to me. I [wrote] saying, ‘Thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,’ and suddenly we have this email relationship,” he explained.
