Do you love a feel good family sports movie? (Think Rudy or The Sandlot) Then you need to check out the new movie THE FINAL SEASON starring Sean Astin as a rookie coach in the small town of Norway, Iowa where high school baseball is the glue that holds the community together. A kinder, gentler Friday Night Lights if you will.

THE FINAL SEASON is the true story of a coach who inspired his team and brought hope to a town when they needed it most. The film stars Sean Astin (LORD OF THE RINGS, CLICK), Powers Boothe, Rachael Leigh Cook (JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS, NANCY DREW), and Michael Angarano (LORDS OF DOGTOWN, TV’s WILL AND GRACE). The movie was directed by Davis Evans (THE SANDLOT, FIRST KID).
