It’s been overdone and was really so last summer…but the cast of The Big Bang Theory has added their take of Call Me Maybe to the millions of other versions on YouTube and into pop culture history.

Cheesy and not en vogue it may be …but this is great free PR for the show, no? Plus..I just fell in love with Sheldon a little bit more….

The production staff and stars of CBS’s megahit comedy about the life and loves of nerdy scientists turn into a flash mob in front of the studio audience in a video was posted to youtube.com by the network Thursday.

It starts off with the actors – Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuocco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bailik – ready to start shooting a scene. But the music starts and the production crew takes the floor dancing to Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit and the cast joins in while creators Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and a surprised audience watch.

It’s beloved character Sheldon Cooper (Parsons) who wraps up the adventure with his famous catchphrase “Bazinga!”
