Katy Perry is now officially Mrs. Russell Brand. Katy and Russ were married by a Christian minister in what is being described as a “private and spiritual ceremony” at a nature preserve in India.

“The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India,” said the statement, which did not provide any further details on the ceremony. The wedding was held at the Aman-e-Khas luxury resort in a tiger reserve in Ranthambhore National Park, a hotel official said on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the media.

No pictures yet as photographers were not allowed, but don’t worry. Katy and Russ sold their wedding pictures to some London mag so they will hit the net soon.

The wedding venue was lit with lamps, colorful lights illuminated the trees and flower garlands festooned the luxury tents at the resort, the hotel official said. Both Brand and Perry wore traditional Indian clothes to the wedding, the hotel official said. Perry donned a sari, as did a number of other female guests at the ceremony. On Friday, at a prenuptial celebration, Perry, like a typical Indian bride, had henna designs applied on her palms and hands.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were married in a discreet and gorgeous ceremony in  Montecito, California on Saturday night.

A couple of adorable pictures of American Beauty star Mena Suvari’s romantic Italian wedding to concert producer Simone Sestito in Vatican City last weekend. After the ceremony they celebrated at Castello Odescalchi ..the same place Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in 2006.

I’m a little sad that I had to reference Mena by her role in American Beauty as she’s really done nothing of worth since then…but that sadness is softened for me by that gorgeous wedding dress. I love the juxtaposition of the fitted, reserved top and the frilly-all-out-in-your-face-girly-ruffles at the bottom.

I am a sucker for simple but gorgeous wedding gowns…and Milla Jovovich’s is about as pretty as they come.

Milla Jovovich wed Paul Anderson at their Beverly Hills home Saturday night, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

Guests, including Patrick Dempsey, began arriving at 4:30 p.m. to the sound of Spanish flamenco music.

The 20-minute ceremony began at 5:30 p.m. Jovovich donned a veil that covered her face, and a long, white sleeveless dress. Her hair was down and wavy, decorated with red flowers. Anderson wore a beige suit.
