Proving that he sooo has a “type”..Tony Romo is now dating the current Miss Missouri, Candice Crawford. Otherwise known as Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford’s gorgeous sister.

Blonde, busty, beauty queens. That’s what The Romo likes.

These two seem random but they actually make more sense than Tony did with Jessica Simpson. Candace hosts the weekend Dallas Cowboys sports show Special Edition.

That damn John Mayer is nothing but trouble. Not only does he seem to be on a personal quest to break every IT girls heart in L.A., he just can’t leave ‘em alone after he dumps them. RadarOnLine says Mayer the Player is partly responsible for the recent Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo break-up.

on Thursday, Romo quickly made up for lost time with Simpson but their reunion quickly took a turn for the worse. “They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it,” the source revealed. “Tony found messages from John and went ballistic.”

Sure there were problems there already if some lame text messages from Mr. Guitar Face ended the relationship. But I’d be willing to be you my laptop that JM is that guy that always dumps the girl but strings her along for years. Doesn’t want her, doesn’t want anyone else to have her. You know that guy. How mean is this? Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson the night before her birthday party. I hate Jessica Simpson and this seems cold even to me. Friends of the quarterback say this has been a long time coming. Apparently she’s been grinding on his nerves (much like she does mine) for some time now. To be fair, he probably broke up with her so he wouldn’t have to go to a lame Ken and Barbie party.

A source close to Simpson confirms they broke up the night before her 29th birthday July 10. She was supposed to celebrate with a Ken and Barbie-themed party. (On Simpson’s birthday, Romo spent the night at Los Angeles hot spot My House.) “She canceled her party because of this,” the source tells Us. “She’s doing OK.”

But Jess is twittering that all is good and that she is just soldiering on until Tony realizes he misses those DD’s and they get back together.

“Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!” she wrote on her Twitter page Saturday.

Later, she wrote: “Everyone needs to know that hope floats…grab the strings and pull it back to you… Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please, Lord, give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.”

The all powerful Dallas Cowboys proved to be not all that this season and superstar quarterback Tony Romo was so upset at his suckiness that he fainted like a girl. Just minutes after the Cowboy’s season ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday, Tony-Lou passed out in the shower…causing chaos in the locker room.

“Shocked” players started yelling for help and pushing back reporters after Romo suddenly fell, likely due to a rib injury incurred late in the game, A stretcher was brought in by the medical team, but Romo was helped to his feet and able to walk into the training room.

When asked about the incident later, Romo, 28, told the paper, “Um, you know, I was just a little banged up, I guess. I’ve got to play better. The team’s got to play better. We didn’t play good this December. That’s obviously the story.”

Sources say that Jessica Simpson rushed to his side immediately but I imagine she is secretly happy that his season is over….now she gets her boyfriend back.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were spotted shopping for diamond rings in Dallas last week. Insiders say they are planning a winter wedding…after football season is over of course.

The quickness in which Jessica becomes Mrs. Romo will no doubt be effected by how well the Dallas Cowboys end this season. I’m quite sure a losing/sulking NFL quarterback is not going to be in too big a hurry to walk down the aisle. On the other hand, if the Cowboys make it to the Superbowl in Tampa that euphoric feeling may just lower his defenses and bam! Papa Joe has a new Brand to try to get his hot little hands on.
