Video: Bill O’Reilly Makes Whoopi and Joy Walk Off “The View”Posted on: October 15, 2010 | Comments Off
Sometimes tv is really, really funny. Even when it’s not supposed to be. Bill O’Reilly really pissed off Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar on The View yesterday…and Mama Barbara had to put everyone in check. O’Reilly caused the ruckus when he claimed( during yet another debate about the Muslim center opening near Ground Zero) that “Muslims killed us on 9/11″. I think we are all intelligent enough to realize that he should have said Extremist Muslims…..but we are also intelligent enough to realize that is what he meant. And of course the mature thing to have done would have been to correct his wording and move on…but it wouldn’t have been nearly as entertaining.

Barbara Walters Returning To The View For Barack Obama AppearancePosted on: July 27, 2010 | Comments Off
It’s such a big deal that President Barack Obama will be appearing on The View this Thursday (July 29) that Barbara Walters is returning early after having freakin’ heart surgery. You know she can’t risk leaving the Commander in Chief with crazy-right wing Elizabeth Hasselbeck who is going to drill him like an oil well about well…oil wells. Or a drunk Whoopi Goldberg who is going to be drooling all over him, kissing his presidential ass and praising his health care plan. The ladies will be asking questions about jobs, the economy, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and family life inside the White House. This is the first time a sitting President has appeared on the show, but President Obama did go on the show during his campaign.
Is Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Future At “The View” In JeopardyPosted on: May 7, 2010 | Comments Off
Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be losing her cherry gig at The View over those comments she made about Erin Andrew’s skimpy outfits on Dancing with the Stars. It’s been obvious for a long time now that Liz is not Barbara Walters favorite co-host..could this last Hasselbeckian comment be the straw that broke the blond republican’s back?
Hasselbeck said on her show Tuesday that “coming off what just happened with [Andrews]” and her stalker going to jail, she didn’t think she should be wearing “next to nothing” on “DWTS.” “In some ways, if I’m him, I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this (points to photos of Andrews on ‘DWTS’) … without the prison time,” she told “The View” panel, referring to Andrews’ stalker who videotaped the ESPN correspondent in her hotel room without her knowledge. She later issued a tearful public apology to Andrews. Natch. Maybe I’m just cold and jaded…but honestly..I really don’t see what the big deal is. The View is supposed to be just a bunch of chicks sitting around talking over coffee and things like this get said. It’s obvious that Liz didn’t mean to call Erin a hoochie or imply that she was asking for another stalker. Wow…I didn’t realize until I typed that I was on Team Hasselbeck. And I don’t really particularly care for her either. Hmmm. Interesting how my mind works.

Tom Cruise Talks About Jett Travolta’s DeathPosted on: January 9, 2009 | Leave a Comment
While The Travolta family is home grieving the loss of their teenage son Jett, their friend and fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise is trying to explain how horrible this is for his friends on The View. On the episode that will air Friday, Tom tells Barbara Walters and the girls how truly crushed John and Kelly are. “It’s just horrific. Here you have a man, both of them doting parents, they’re wonderful people and …” “I remember Jett when he was born,” Cruise later says. “I saw him when he was just a few months old and John just adored him, and both of his children, and Kelly. I just don’t have the words for it,” Cruise adds of Jett’s death.
