MTV’s  fake-reality  show The Hills returns tonight with a new lead biatch. Kristin Cavallari is joining the “docusoap” as the resident blonde bad girl. She is of course replacing Lauren Conrad, who played the good girl.

Since this is the one day that people will actually be talking about the ridiculous show, the folks over at the Daily Beast uncovered the salaries of the untalented cast. Warning: If you feel overworked and underpaid and miserable in your cube..you  might not want to read that Kristin makes $90,000 per episode, Audrina rakes in $100K and “King Spencer Pratt” only pulls in a measly $65,000.’

If it’s dishearting to learn these MTV kids makes so much money, at least we can take joy in knowing that Spencer is not considered to the “the king” at MTV and makes considerably less than his female counterparts.

Stephanie Pratt either wants to share her eating disorder story to help anyone else struggling with this awful disease…or she’s taking a page out of her brother Spencer’s book and trying to cash in on her 15.

In this week’s issue of Us Weekly, Stephanie opens up about hating her body and her terrifying secret struggle with bulimia — sparked, she says, by the pressure of appearing alongside her super-thin friends on the hit MTV reality show.

The 5-foot-7 23-year-old says he began a 5000 calorie bingeing and purging cycle after watching herself on tv with Lauren Conrad.

“I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.’”

Says Pratt, “The producers never put pressure on us to lose weight,” but adds, “It’s embarrassing working with skinny girls.”

I saw this coming a mile away kids. What the hell was Lauren Conrad thinking when she quit ‘The Hills’? Sources say she is trying desperately  to get back on the hit show but now that MTV has signed on Kristin Cavallari that’s probably not going to happen.

On a positive note, Lauren is now dating “My Boys” star Kyle Howard so she can cry on his shoulder. And according to Page Six Vanesssa Minnillo and Lauren are becoming new BFF’s. Probably because Van needs a job as she was just turned down for a role on Melrose Place.
