Star magazine is taking the Dr. Drew statement about Angelina Jolie still being a heroin addict and running with it. Big time. Cover story big time.

So far they’ve only released the cover with no story..we’ll see how this goes.

They say no press is bad press. So will Angelina Jolie’s move Salt benefit from the graphic drug fueled pictures that Star magazine is publishing this week? It’s widely known that Angelina is a master PR manipulator so it’s possible that this was her idea.

In the Aug. 9 issue of Star, on sale today, we have eight never-before-seen graphic photos — taken by a friend who she often did drugs with — that Angelina would rather forget.

In one set, the now-mother of six has black tape over her nipples and a dog leash around her neck. Others show her during a 14-hour heroin-smoking bender.

“The photographs  are a startling reminder to Angelina of a period in her life I’m sure she wants to forget, a shady piece of her history that she’s kept hidden away, even from Brad,” celebrity biographer Andrew Morton, author of Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography, tells Star in our cover story.

Andrew Morton’s Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie tell-all doesn’t come out until August, but he’s graciously given that bastion of truth, Star Magazine, a sneak peek at some of the more juicy bits.  Andrew claims that Angelina had an affair with Ethan Hawk, used LSD alot and was a voodoo practioner.

Right. Look, we all know things aren’t as peachy in Brangelina-land as she’d like us all to think. And the rumor that she is a ‘controlled’ heroin addict have been around so long it’s hard to believe there isn’t some truth behind it. But voodoo? Really Andrew Morton? Really?

Andrew tells Star, “I interviewed dozens of her friends and associates, and they told me some fascinating facts about Angelina and her relationship with Brad. She will have to wait to find out what’s in it.”

After realizing that 22 year-old Hailey Glassman might not be the right woman to help him raise his eight kids, Jon Gosselin has moved on to an older, more mature woman.

Who just happens to be a senior reporter for Star magazine, Kate Major. Of course this relationship can never work out either…Jon will surely hold hatred in his heart against any woman named Kate for the rest of his life.
