If I’m not mistaken Joe Jonas has a solo album debuting soon..so he is no longer in need of a beard girlfriend. So Ashley Greene’s contract has been fulfilled and now she can go back to playing beer pong with Kellan Lutz.

It was a matter of scheduling that caused the tween star couple to fade apart, the paper said, especially ironic given Jonas’ cover story in Details that was released just a day ago.

“I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule. She’ll fly out to my shows—she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce,” Jonas told the magazine.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this time it’s serious. I hope that Jessica Biel finally put her big girl panties on and told Justin Timberlake to take his non-committing, cheating self ON. But that’s probably not what happened.

He probably broke up with her after three years of dating and hoping for more on her part.

Am I the only one that doesn’t really like this guy?

In a joint statement, reps for the couple confirm the split.  “Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways. The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other.”

After dating for seven years, Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin have ended their very quiet and private relationship.

“The split was amicable, and they remain close friends,” a Kunis rep told the New York Post. The paper also reported that the pair ended things a while back, but kept it quiet while Kunis promoted her Golden Globe-nominated film Black Swan. Nothing is worse for film promo than a break-up.

In 2006 Mila gave an usually open and candid interview about the relationship we’ve all thought was strange for years. Turns out..it wasn’t that strange at all.

“We’re incredibly private, and I think we relish the privacy we do actually have and are able to sustain it,” she said. “We enjoy each other’s company. We like to read books or play video games or watch TV or go to the movies. And he’s an amazing cook. He makes dinner every night.”

At the time, Kunis raved about Culkin:

“There are a lot of things people want him to be that he’s not,” Kunis continued. “He’s an amazing, simple guy, who is probably the most brilliant person I’ve ever met. He’s so, so smart and so aware and so kind and so sweet. Unfortunately, that’s not what people want him to be, so they write stuff.”

And the last sad celebrity break up story of 2010 is….Sebastian Bach and his wife of 18 years Maria Bierk have called it quits.

“We have tried to work things out for the sake of our family but it has become apparent that our differences at this point are irreconcilable. In 2011 we go our separate ways.”

At least this split makes more sense than some of the celebrity break ups we saw this year. These two were very young and living a rock and roll lifestyle when they met and married back in the day. They’ve grown up and grown apart and that happens organically all the time. But the John Mellancamp split, Courtney Cox and David Arquette split, Kate Winslet, Liz Hurley and Charlize Theron  splits all seemed like decent relationships worth saving.

Maybe 2011 will be a better year for celeb couples.

This is so weird! I was just thinking about John Mellencamp and his wife not long ago. Don’t ask me why..there is no rhyme or reason as to how my mind works.

Anyway, the story broke this morning that after 20 years of marriage John Mellencamp and his model wife Elaine are splitting up.

Publicist Bob Merlis declined to say Thursday if the couple had filed for divorce. Merlis says the Mellencamps “are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.”

He says they will continue to raise their two children in Indiana.

It’s always sad when a couple can’t seem to make it work after soooo long. But on a positive note, Elaine can start wearing heels again.
