And the celebrity related suicide story this week is about Marie Osmond’s 18 year-old son. Ugh. So sad. Even sadder is that he sent a text message just minutes before he took his life to a neighbor indicating there was a suicide note for her in his room.

Michael Blosil, one of Marie Osmond’s eight children, jumped to his death from his downtown apartment building around 9PM. Minutes later, in reponse to the text message, the neighbor entered Blosil’s apartment to find the note. Reportedly, the note claimed the woman was Blosil’s only good friend in L.A. and he was very unhappy.
Law enforcement sources say the note did not explicitly mention suicide, though it spelled out things Blosil would be doing for the last time. The woman and Blosil’s roommates became alarmed but had no time to seek help; they became aware of sirens and saw emergency vehicles already on the street below the apartment.

When Blosil’s roommates spoke to police, they confirmed that he was sober around the time of his death, though he had struggled with addiction in the past. Following the divorce of his parents, Michael became depressed and in November 2007, entered rehab.

We were all feeling sorry for Sharon Stone last week when we found out she lost custody of her son Roan. But after reading some of the custody documents that were leaked today, we should all say a big  ‘Thank you Jesus’ that this kid’s father stepped in and took him away.

According to the court records, crazy old Sharon keeps freaking out about non-existent medical problems with Roan. She’s convinced that he has a spinal condition that there is no evidence of and she tried in vain to get a doctor to inject Botox in her 8 year-old sons feet.

And then the court says, “Another example of an overreaction is that Mother suggested that Roan should have Botox injections in his feet to resolve a problem he had with foot odor. As Father appropriately noted, the simple and common sense approach of making sure Roan wore socks with his shoes and used foot deodorant corrected the odor problem without the need for any invasive procedure on this young child.”

The judge ruled in favor of father Phil Bronstein and tore Sharon a new one in the process.

“Father has championed for Roan’s well-being out of, what appears to this Court, nothing less than the unconditional love for his son. Unfortunately, and for unexplained reasons, it appears that Mother did not involve herself to the extent she could or should have in this process … Mother has attempted to put up roadblocks to Roan’s getting help, or has decided against participating in his care. Unfortunately, the problem caused by Mother’s overreactions is painfully real for this child.”

There are many other dirty details that weren’t released today but you can bet they’ll be dragged out soon. But in the meantime enjoy this one last stab and the crazy old lady formerly known as Sharon Stone.

The judge says at one point, responding to Stone’s argument that she put her career on hold for Roan, “If Mother has, in fact, limited her career to make herself available for Roan, she has done little to make this evident to Roan, his school or this Court.”

Sad story kids. Dr. Dre’s 20 year-old son Andre was found dead by his mother at his home in Woodland Hills, California Saturday morning. When Andre Young’s mother couldn’t wake him up, she called paramedics. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Andre “had been out with friends” the previous night and returned home around 5:30 a.m. The coroners says foul play is not suspected, so that leads me to believe it was an accidental overdose.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son,” his rep Lori Earl says in a statement. “Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”
