Chris Robinson Slams Taylor Swift

Posted on: September 3, 2010 | Comments Off

The Black Crowes frontman and ex-husband of Kate Hudson, Chris Robinson had some harsh words for Taylor Swift in an interview with Nylon Guys magazine.

“I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” he told the magazine.

He then ranted about packaged artists.

‘They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you…there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.’

It’s harsh, yes. But true. Doctored up studio tracks like Britney Spears dance-crap and Taylor’s country cross-over pop have no soul.

And in his defense…I’ve heard Taylor live…and it ain’t good.

Jennifer Aniston Slams Bill O’Reilly

Posted on: August 13, 2010 | Comments Off

Bill O’Reilly got owned by Jennifer Aniston today after she very politely put his old ass in his place.

Earlier this week O’Reilly said Jen’s remarks about women being able to start a family without first finding a man were “destructive to our society“. Idiot.

He added that “men get hosed all day long in the parental arena,” and Aniston had contributed to “diminishing the role of the dad.”

Again. Idiot. Does this old man really think women want to do it all alone? No. It’s hard. It’s not ideal. You need two parents. Hell..you need three parents per child to keep your sanity. But when your clock is ticking and every man you’ve ever had a relationship with is blatantly inadequate…at least know you can go ahead and have a baby while you continue looking for Mr. Right.

Anyway…today Jen answered back to O’Reilly.“Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts). But for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”

Who knew Katy Perry was such a good Catholic girl? Lady Gaga’s new video for Alejandro dropped Tuesday and the former Christian music singer immediately took to Twitter to tell us how she really feels about Gaga’s vid.

‘Alejandro‘ features Gaga dressed in a latex nun’s habit, sucking on rosary beads and at the center of a gay orgy dressed in a crucifix-emblazoned robe with a cross over her crotch.

Jon Voight Claims President “Rapes This Nation”

Posted on: April 13, 2010 | Comments Off

I love Jon Voight sooooo much. I was big fan of his before I even knew he was St. Angie’s father. I love the way he always tries to stay in her well-orchestrated-picture-perfect life. I love how he says way too personal things to the press but still manages to keep our respect.  I love him in the National Treasure movies. I just love him.

And now I love him more. What other celebrity would go on tv and say that the great one was ‘raping our nation’?!!! Brilliant!

Jon Voight read a letter he had written condemning President Obama to the American public when he appeared as a guest on Mike Huckabee’s Fox News show over the weekend.

“The American People are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration,” Voight said. “President Obama feeds people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy … [Obama uses] a socialistic, Marxist teaching, and with it, he rapes this nation…”

He won’t be talking to Angie for another year over this one.

Matt Damon Slams Sarah Palin

I love it when celebrities think their political opinion is so astute that they must share it with us normal folk. I almost didn’t post this because I’d hate for someone to base their vote for President this year on what some blabbering celebrity thinks, but then I thought it might be funny for everyone to see Matt Damon on his high horse.

But before you watch this kids, remember to do your own research and make an informed decision before you pull that lever this November.

“I think there’s a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that’s a really scary thing… I don’t know anything about her and in eight weeks, I don’t think I’m going to know anything about her. I know that she was a mayor of a really, really small town and she’s the governor for Alaska for less than two years. I just don’t understand. I think the pick was made for political purposes… Do the actuary tables and there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that [John] McCain doesn’t survive his first term and it’ll be President Palin… It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ‘oh, I’m just a hockey mom’… and she’s facing down Vladimir Putin (of Russia)… It’s totally absurd… it’s a really terrifying possibility.”
