I’ve always been a sucker for Robin Hood…I think it started with the animated Disney version when I was a kid. My obsession continued on through countless made-for-tv movies until finally the Kevin Costner version Robin Hood Prince of Thieves came out in 1991. I thought I was going to overdose on romance in the final wedding scene in the forest…

It’s been 18 years since Costner swashbuckled into my heart so I’m ticked pink to see that a new Russell Crowe/Ridley Scott version will be hitting the theaters next year. I don’t know if Russell Crowe will get me like the soft-spoken Kevin Costner…but I’ll definitely give him a chance.
