Russell Brand Explains How Katy Perry Tamed Him

It’s not secret that I love this celebrity couple and I really do wish them well. And while I love them and would love to see them make some crazy-ass little babies..I’ve never really thought that Russell Brand would seriously change his ways…until I read these excerpts from his new book My Booky Wooky 2.
Russell explains what really happened when they met at rehearsals for the 2009 MTV VMA’s. Turns out that whole ‘Katy threw a bottle at his head’ rumor was true. He explains that by the end of their first meeting he was totally in love with the quick witted Katy and how he ended up with her Alexander McQueen bangle. It’s pure romance. It their brand of romance…but romance non the less.
Brand gushes: ‘You’ll think it frivolous of me to say I knew I’d marry her on that first date. The truth is I fell in love with her when she hit me with that bottle. From the first date, I changed. No more women. Well, actually, thousands of women. I wake up to a different one each day, they’re all her. She chose me, bottled me and cuffed me. And now this is my life, my girl, this beautiful woman.’
He also reveals that he had been expressly warned by MTV bosses not to attempt to seduce Perry, as he met her as they rehearsed co-hosting the 2009 MTV VMAs.
But instead, she threw the half-full bottle at his head, with the opening gambit: ‘Got you on the head, huh? Kind of an easy target, it’s big and you’ve got that ridiculous hair.’
When he teased her in reply about wearing sunglasses indoors to get her back and urged her to take them off, Perry hit back: ‘I’m not removing anything I’m wearing around you, I could get herpes.’
Brand says he was then totally smitten. He continues that when he tried to return the silver skull bangle to Perry at the end of the day’s rehearsals at Radio City in Los Angeles, she told him: ‘Keep it. To remind you of me.’

Russell Brand Arrested For Attacking Photographer

Russell Brand was placed under citizen’s arrest Friday afternoon when put the beat down on a photographer for trying to get an upskirt picture of his fiance, Katy Perry. Russell and Katy were going through security when the paparazzi got froggy and stuck a camera up Katy’s dress.
Brand was then interviewed by airport police and taken into custody. He and Perry, 24, did not board their schedule Delta flight to Las Vegas. Russell has since been released from police custody for a misdemeanor charge of simple battery. His bail was set at $20,000. He is due to appear at an LA court on October 15th.
About the incident, Katy tweeted: “If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me.”

Katy Perry Twitter Pic: Russell Brand Pics On Her Fingernails

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of this celebrity relationship. Ever since Russell Brand admitted that he had a crush on Katy Perry at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards I’ve been following these two with interest. While everyone else is shocked that they are still together I still think they are perfectly suited for each other.
Sadly, on their one year anniversary work kept them on different coasts. Katy was presenting at last nights VMA’s and Russell was off filming Arthur with Jennifer Garner. But the two found a way to celebrate.
Katy Tweeted the top photo and said, “To the 1 year anniversary of our love @ the #VMA’S @rustyrockets. You’re here w/us in spirit 
”
In response her finace’ Tweeted the second picture and wrote “@katyperry I’m hosting my own awards (#RBMA’s) you win. See you wednesday (in LA)”

Katy Perry and Russell Brand May Already Be Married

Did Russell Brand and Katy Perry secretly get married already???? It doesn’t sound like them to do anything in a discreet and private way but who knows…maybe this is one area of their very public lives they wanted to keep to themselves.
Katy was on the Graham Norton show last night and had what you might call a Freudian slip of the tongue. Katy was talking about her sweetie when she said, “Life’s never dull with him – that’s why I married him.”
After Graham and the audience gasped, and she quickly covered with a, “That’s why I’m marrying him!” Then she refused to clarify whether she and Russell – who plan to tie the knot this fall – have already secretly gotten hitched.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s Matching Tattoos

Cuteness.
Katy Perry revealed her new Sanskrit tattoo when she performed at the launch of the Volkswagen 2001 Jetta this week. It’s in the identical position as the one her fiance Russell Brand showed off on his Rolling Stone cover this month.
Their new inky connection reads - Anuugacchati Pravaha , which means Go With The Flow.
And P.S. – how sick are her arms???? The result of those endless pictures we see of Katy coming and going from the gym everyday.
