Robert Downey, Jr. & Jude Law Filming Sherlock Holmes 2Posted on: October 18, 2010 | Comments Off
Yeah..Yeah..Yeah! I’m doing my happy dance. I feel like I have been waiting for-freaking-ever for Sherlock Holmes 2. My love for this movie has returned this week since my local cable company is playing it every 4-6 hours. Plus I have a huge crush on Robert Downey, Jr. lately and am already jonesing to see his new movie with Zach Galifianakis Due Date. To go a bit off topic here..Due Date is directed by The Hangover guy and I hear it’s going to be the funniest movie of 2010. Back to SH2….here are a few pics of RDJ and Jude Law filming on location with Guy Ritchie. Sadly Brad Pitt is not going to be joining the cast as rumored but Rachel McAdams will be back and Jared Harris will be playing the villainous Prof. Moriarty.
Warner Brothers Greenlights “Sherlock Holmes 2″Posted on: May 28, 2010 | Comments Off
Yeah! Warner Brothers has announced they will go ahead with a Sherlock Holmes sequel and have ordered a release date for December 2011. We knew there would be at least one more with the way they left us hanging at end of the first movie…but I wasn’t expecting it so soon. I also wasn’t expecting to be so excited about it since I had some issues with the first one. Maybe they will shorten this one down a tad and tell Guy Ritchie to chill out with making Sherlock such a badass. It was cool for a minute..but I got really tired of the think-ahead-Matrixy-scenes. Oh..and more, more, more Jude Law!!!! The big question is…who will WB tap to play Prof. Moriarity?
Vampires Are Cool Again …Anne Rice Is BackPosted on: August 17, 2009 | Comments Off
Sure, everyone loves Twilight and every man and woman in the free world wants to get their freak on with Rob Pattinson right now, but Bloody-Disgusting.com says the original rock star sexy vampire is about to make a major comeback. Universal Pictures is going to restart Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles, which tells the story of the vampire Lestat Du Lioncort – a nobleman turned vampire in the 18th century. Lestat appears as a major character in both motion picture adaptations of The Vampire Chronicles novels. In Neil Jordan’s 1994 film adaptation of Interview with the Vampire, he is portrayed by Tom Cruise. In the 2002 film adaptation of Queen of the Damned, he is played by Stuart Townsend. And lest we forget, the sexiest vampire ever..Brad Pitt (as the tortued Louis) Before Edward of course… No word yet on how they plan on unrolling this franchise, but we did find out who they are talking with to replace Tom Cruise and Stuart Townsend. Read on for the skinny.
Who Is The ‘Violent Closeted Raping Homosexual’ Summer Box Office Star?Posted on: August 19, 2008 | 1 Comment
Holy Blind Items Batman! Page Six ran an unbelievable juicy tidbit yesterday so shocking it’s still rockin’ the gossip world today. Which hunk in a summer movie is a violent, closeted homosexual? The heartthrob snuck into his ex’s apartment a few months ago and raped him so violently, the ex ended up in the hospital, and the actor paid him $500,000 to keep his mouth shut. Here are just a few of the summer box office stars that could be the heinous offender. Robert Downey, Jr. , Christian Bale, James Franco, Ed Norton, Mike Myers and Vin Diesel. Most everyone seems to be leaning toward the star of Pineapple Express, James Franco…but I’m thinking maybe not. I’ll keep my opinions to myself for the moment and hope that the victim decides to spill the beans for more cash after his booty heals. I would’ve thought after getting anally raped you’d hold out for more than half a mil anyway.
