Wow. I was ready for another Spice Girls reunion but I was not ready for a reality show and a musical. It’s just too much. I might not be able to handle all that spice. The Spice Girls are launching their own TV talent show which would select young girls for a musical based on the group’s rise to fame.

“The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time. But they then launch a musical which could run for months or even years. It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one,” an insider divulged to The Sun.

The show – rumoured to be called Spice Idol – will see the singers sit on an American Idol-style judging panel.

“This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members,” added the source. “It’’s a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.”

The Real Housewives of New York maybe be one short of the original crew when it returns for season 3. Fan favorite Bethenny Frankel will be filming her own show for Bravo this fall called “Skinny & The City“. The show will “follow her planning her wedding to fiance Jason Hoppy”.

No work from Bravo if Bethenny will keep her cushy spot on the “Housewives” show or if she’ll be replaced.

Everyone was all abuzz about Lindsay Lohan having dinner with Ryan Seacrest over the weekend. Lilo taking a meeting with Seacrest can really only mean one thing….reality show in the works.

Or a booty call…but since the reality show idea makes more sense because we all know Seacrest is gay..we’re going with that theory.

But Lindsay and Ryan don’t just want to throw out another piece of reality fodder…they want to help. And let’s face it, when you are in need of a helping hand, who better than someone as cool and collected as Lindsay?

According to TMZ.com, the premise of the potential series is that real people who are on the wrong track and looking for a second chance are given $1 million to make it happen. Lohan, no stranger to the concept, would likely serve on a panel of judges who hear contestants’ stories.

So maybe this is why Samantha Ronson has let crazy Lindsay Lohan back into her life. Sam’s in negotiations to star in her own reality  show tentatively  titled Sam’s Life.  The series will focus on Sam’s crazy life as a jet-setting celebrity DJ.

The one thing holding up the deal is Sam’s bat-shit crazy ex-girlfriend. Lindsay Lohan does not want to sink to the level of reality show and has refused to even guest star on Sam’s show.

I don’t know Linds…the only jobs you are getting lately are modeling gigs…Britney did a reality show when she was melting down too..it’s all good. It couldn’t really hurt at this point.

You gotta feel sorry for Sam. Just when she was out and free….they SUCKED her back in. She was just weeks away from finally being free of the emotional-energy-suck that is Lindsay Lohan.

This is the best nugget of gossip I’ve heard today….someone overhead a studio exec talking to his lawyer about a very interesting reality show pitch he received from Cher and her gay daughter Chastity Bono.

Studio Head: We had a reality pitch from Cher and Chastity Bono.

Attorney: Really?

S.H.: Yeah, and it was all about Chastity getting a sex-change operation, which they wanted to air!

A: No way! Were you interested?

S.H.: No. How do you make 100 episodes outta one operation?

I’m sad to say that is probably just a rumor….but someone should start working on getting this project off the ground. Who wouldn’t watch Cher and Sonny Bono’s lesbian daughter get a penis?
