Harry Potter fans got some good news today. While be interviewed by Oprah , J.K. Rowling offered a bit of hope that, just maybe, the final Harry Potter story has yet to be told.

“I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth,” the celebrated author, 45, told Oprah Winfrey during an interview scheduled to air Friday. “I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.”

Speaking in Edinburgh, where the interview took place, Rowling said she felt something of a loss upon finishing the saga’s last installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. “It was a bereavement,” she said.

That’s great and all. But let’s all try to talk J.K. into agreeing to release her books in a Kindle type format before she starts spitting out more. I respect her view on having a real, tangible book in your hand..but for some of that really isn’t feasible anymore.

Apparently, before Robsten and the gang went to tape the segment, they went over with Oprah what she was going to ask. O said she had to “go there” and gave Rob and Kristen the heads-up she was going to ask the big dating question.

Robsten and their people obviously said they wouldn’t straight-up answer, no surprise there, so Rob, Kristen and Oprah came to a little agreement.

When asked, Rob and Kristen could totally give the coy nonanswer answer (Rob joked Kristen was pregnant, Kristen joked Rob was having the baby), and O wouldn’t press it too hard on air.

On one condition—she wanted to know what was really happening.

“Obviously Oprah had to ask something during the taping, but agreed beforehand she wouldn’t be too hard on [Rob and Kristen] if they told her what was really going on. Both Rob and Kristen’s people and Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent.”

The Oprah has spoken and the Oprah wants Tiger.

Oprah Winfrey has called Tiger Woods herself to offer him advice, comfort … and the opportunity to tell his side of the ever-developing Tiger-gate drama on her couch. “Everyone in the TV business wants this interview,” a source tells PopEater’s Rob Shuter

“Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters and Larry King’s people have all called, but only lady O has personally reached out,” the source said.

It couldn’t hurt at this point. Maybe if he went on the show and did some couch jumping all the midwest housewives would forgive him.

Say it ain’t so. The days of the Oprah as the tv talk show queen are ov-ah! She is moving on to bigger and better things..like owning her own cable channel. The O will make the big official announcement on Friday November 20th.

According to the report, Oprah will be focusing all of her energy on a cable channel of her own, which ironically will be named “OWN.”  A spokeswoman for Harpo confirmed Thursday evening that she will make the statement on Friday. The plans were first reported by WABC, the ABC station in New York City. The statement reads: “The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.”

CBS Television Distribution said, “We have the greatest respect for Oprah and wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors. We know that anything she turns her hand to will be a great success. We look forward to working with her for the next several years, and hopefully afterwards as well.”
