Just Christmas Day Hannibal, 33, reportedly beat his wife, Libyan model Aline Skaf, 29, until her face was bleeding heavily and her nose was clearly broken. All in all, Karma has been good to Rihanna. After suffering through her troubles with Chris Brown she now has to deal with those ugly Jay Z affair rumors and worry about Beyonce kicking her ass, at least the universe is trying to get square with her.

A source tells Page Six that Rihanna is getting paid a staggering $500,000 to perform at a New Year’s Eve bash at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi — her first-ever performance in the Middle East. The source said, “She was supposed to perform back in May [in Abu Dhabi], but she cancelled in the aftermath of the assault [by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. This is a make-up date.”

A half a million dollars can’t ever erase the pain of what she had to go through, but it can sure buy alot of stilettos.
