Jessica Simpson’s star never shone as bright as when she was the star of the MTV reality Newlyweds. Since then her singing career, movie career and new country music career have tanked so now she is going to back to her roots.

Jess recently visited some TV networks to pitch a reality series about society’s scrutiny of women’s bodies.

The premise of the program, titled The Price of Beauty: “She and a friend set off on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why,” says a source.

You may or may not have noticed that Britney Spears has had her own personal film crew following her around the past few weeks. While many of us had hoped the tape was going to be used for a new network reality show, it sounds like it’s going to end up being just some video you can check out on her website. Who knows?
