Christian Audigier Has Purchased Neverland Ranch

Perfect.

Creepy Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier has purchased Michael Jackson’s creepy Neverland Ranch.

Audigier will be turning the $90 million Holmby Hills, California estate into his company’s headquarters, but he has other plans for Neverland into a haven for fans of the King of Pop. “I can have the house in one month now,” Audigier revealed Thursday. “I get the keys two weeks from today.”

In an interview with Agence France-Presse Thursday, Audigier said: “I bought the Michael Jackson house. It’s something I’m gonna open just for the birthday (sic) of his death every June, where the media is gonna be able to come in and we’ll do exposes, etc.”

Audigier had been developing a clothing line with Michael Jackson prior to his anesthesia-induced death last June and most sources report they had a good relationship. I guess it could have been worse. It could have been like a really sick version of Bush Gardens.

Neverland Ranch To Become The Next “Graceland”

It was just a matter of time before the money men stepped in to profit off Michael Jackson’s death. You can’t blame the investors that stepped in to save Neverland Ranch when MJ started having financial trouble for trying to make a buck. Or a ga-zillion bucks.

The investors that bailed MJ out last year could not have foreseen his early death, but it looks like they are going to end up making much more money out of the deal than they originally thought.

“The London concerts were solely for the purpose of buying his ranch back. Michael had been having financial trouble for years. The loan bought on his ranch was essentially just a hefty favor for the singer. Despite some of the bad memories that happened at Neverland, Michael couldn’t part with the ranch. He loved it. He had every intention of buying it back with the money earned over in England.”

Since the purchase of Neverland was never intended to be a permanent one, are these investors totally screwed?

“Although that remains to be seen, I don’t think so at all,” insists a financial guru associated with Jackson and the ranch. “They’ll probably make even more money. As of now, the most likely plan is to transform Neverland into a Graceland-type arrangement.”

I’m not sure how I feel about Neverland being turned into a public museum of creepiness. Listen kids, I’ve been to Graceland and as much as I love Elvis I felt very dirty and strange after walking through his private home with tons of other cheesy tourists wearing headphones listening to Priscilla ramble on about how happy E was at Graceland. And nothing that strange happened at Graceland…other than occasional tv set getting shot up by the Memphis Mafia. And they never let you see the good parts upstairs anyway….

Do we really need to walk the halls of Neverland thinking about all the unsavory things that happened there? On the other hand is way more bizarre to expect some other family to live there and have to deal with looky-loo’s for the rest of their lives. I don’t know…maybe it should be turned into a home for needy children or something. Or a scared straight facility.
