Megan Fox has another huge FAIL on her resume. Her newest flick Passion Play with Mickey Rourke showed so poorly at the Toronto Film Festival that it’s skipping the theaters and going straight to DVD.

The film, which co-stars Mickey Rourke as a burnt out trumpet player who rescues and somehow romances Fox from Bill Murray’s sleazy gangster, is set to be released to home theaters everywhere on May 31st.

It’s little surprise that the movie, despite a seemingly strong cast, finds itself without theater play; it already failed on the big screen. Playing at the Toronto Film Festival in September, the film bombed, with terrible reviews and viewers openly mocking it as it played — that is, before they walked out.

Mickey Rourke says we shouldn’t blame Megan for the crappy movie…he says she’s actually a good actress. I know..I was as shocked as you are.

“I think the pleasant surprise was this girl who’s a world-class beauty turned out to be probably the best young actress I’ve ever worked with,” Rourke said. “I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented, but she really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing.”

Most of you probably don’t care much about Mickey Rourke, but Mr. Hollywood Backwash recently made me watch The Wrestler and I’m a fan from his Wild Orchid and 9 1/2 Weeks days so he’s fresh on my mind.

Mickey pulled a major comeback in that movie and now that his life is back on track he is ready to tie the knot with his 24 year-old Russian girlfriend Elena Kuletskaya.  According to The New York Post 57 year-old Mick and Elena will get hitched in Moscow next April.

Mickey’s said to studying Elena’s native tongue, spoiling his future mother-in-law, and even shopping for a new pooch that the newlyweds will share.

“They haven’t booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he’s been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony,” a friend told the tab.

Spies at the Mirror UK say that Courtney Love was going crazy watching Mickey Rourke chat up other girls at the Elle Style Awards this week.

The Wrestler star spent most of Monday evening at the do at Big Sky Studios in North London trying to grapple with us, while 44-year-old Hole singer Courtney looked like she’d like to get us in a half nelson!Aware that Elle Woman of the Year Courtney was texting him from across the table, we told Mickey, 56, we didn’t want to be in a Love triangle.

Call me crazy, but I think this is one Hollywood hook-up that might actually work. These two are just batshit crazy enough to pull it off.
