It’s a proven statistic that when faced with a major life change something like 80% of women change their hair radically.

So maybe that’s why rapper MIA went for that hideous color…but what’s up with Chris Brown?

Female rapper MIA got all pissed off and took to her blog a month ago to defend her new baby boys name. The press had incorrectly reported that MIA named her baby Ikkitt.

How awful is that? Ikkitt? Of course she wouldn’t saddle her only child with a moniker as ugly as that would she? Of course not.

According to the birth certificate, Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam officially named her son Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman, common spelling. That’s not mean at all.

I don’t think anyone will soon forget M.I.A. and her giant polka-dot pregnant belly hip-hoppin all over the Grammy stage last Sunday.

We’ll you’ll all be glad to know that M.I.A.’s baby is here and healthy and as far as we know not damaged in any way from bouncing around in front of millions of people on live television. No word or if it’s a little hippy hoppy boy or girl.

British/Sri Lankan rapper/singer MIA is positive she is having a baby boy…….because a clairvoyant told her she is full of male energy. I don’t know about the male stuff…but her belly is sure full of baby. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone that pregnant hoppin’ round on a stage before.

She says, “The guy who read my cards said, ‘When you were born, your parents thought you’d be a boy, so you came out with a lot of male energy. You can do a lot of things that men can do.’ “There’s a lot of male energy in me that needs to be exorcised, that’s how I know it’s gonna be a boy.”

MIA and indie rocker Benjamin Brewer will welcome their new baby in February 2009.
