Since she couldn’t make it happen with Benji Madden (or any other celebrity for that matter) Paris Hilton has decided that she’ll settle for someone who is cashing in on his fifteen minutes.

Unlike Lindsay Lohan, Paris and Doug Reinhardt did get into last night’s I Heart Ronson for JCPenney party and they were both just chattering away about how in love they are.

“We’re best friends,” Paris said. “It’s not like we just met. We’ve known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I’m really in love and really happy.”

As for the rumors that the two are engaged, it hasn’t happened yet, but it seems to be in the future for the two. “You never know,” Doug said. ”He’s going to be my husband,” Paris giggled.

I know this is shocking and disappointing news for some of you, but we’ve just found out that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s quickie Mexican wedding might not be legal. I know….it sucks, right?

In their rush to become man and wife for the MTV camera crew before the Thanksgiving holiday they failed to acquire all the things the United States requires to recognize a couple as legally married. Little things like blood tests, proof of i.d. and a silly little piece of paper called a marriage certificate.

Oh well…at least now they have a real reason to have another big old thousand picture-tabloid selling tacky-ass wedding for all The Hills fans.

I’d say the cat is out the bag and/or closet now. Although Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson haven’t really been hiding the fact that they are a couple, they haven’t exactly confirmed it either. Until now. Sam announced to a room full of club kids that she and LiLo are getting married in the next six months.

Sam used her DJ slot at top LA hotel and night spot Chateau Marmont to announce the news, telling clubbers: “By the end of this year, my love will be Mrs Ronson.” She added: “Tonight shows the power of a woman – to underestimate that is to underestimate the world.”

That is of course her “love” is some other gay chick and Linday is just a red herring.

Ellen DeGeneres is finally going to make an honest woman out of Portia de Rossi this weekend. The cutest couple in L.A. have been planning on tying the knot since last May when the California Supreme Court ruled that same sex partners “have the right to marry”.  Ellen announced the news on her show

“It’s something that we’ve wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited,” DeGeneres, 50, gushed. “I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don’t all have the same rights,” DeGeneres said. Of the preparations, DeGeneres joked, “Planning a wedding is very stressful. It’s crazy. My gardener is now invited.”

Ellen announced that she and Portia would be getting married on her show the day after the California Supreme Court’s monumental ruling that same sex couple’s have the “right to marry.” An emotional Ellen beamed as a giddy looking Portia sat in the audience when she broke the news. News of the World is reporting that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are planning on exchanging marriage vows in a private ceremony later this year. It’s so serious that LiLo’s been shopping for a dress. Sources say that Lindsay is leaning toward wearing a white Chanel mini-dress and Sam will wear a tux and top hat. Ok. That’s (not) cool.

Lindsay’s mum Dina has told pals that she wants to “welcome Sam into the family” with a lavish do, including drinks and canapes for Li-Lo’s pals and relatives. Dina is still working on the date of the party but it’s looking like towards the end of the year.

“Lindsay’s new album Spirit In The Dark is out in November, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s around then. They’ve been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as ‘just good friends’.

“But they’ve decided it isn’t a fling, it’s for life- so they want to make their romance public.”
