At least according to Hollywood gossip Janet Charlton.

Janet says that everybody needs to stop calling him Jake Gayllenhaal or Toothy Tile, because he prefers a bong to a penis any day. In fact, she says he is such a pot head that his love of the herb is what led to his break-up with Reese Witherspoon. She wasn’t a beard..she was a prude.

“At last the truth comes out. An acquaintance of Reese and Jake acknowledges that they were very smitten with each other for quite awhile and seemed perfectly matched. Unfortunately, Jake had a habit that Reese could not live with, and he wouldn’t give it up. He smoked way too much. And we’re not talking nicotine here. Not only did it rub Reese the wrong way, but she worried about her children being exposed to his bad habits. So, regretfully, she moved on. Note: those of you who insist that Jake is gay are NUTS.”

I know I was upset when I read this headline too. But then as I kept on reading and I realized that Brett Michaels was probably only smoking a little weed so I’m giving him a pass.

Here’s what happened..Bret has two tour buses and they got pulled over in Indiana last night because because they didn’t have any trailer tag lights. Bret let the cops on to do an search of the buses and low and behold the dogs found weed on both buses.

They also found “a quantity of Schedule II controlled substances” on the bus that Bret wasn’t on.  Nobody was arrested, but charges were sent to the prosecutor’s office.

I say leave Brett be. He’s been through enough lately and if he wants to toke up a little on his own tour bus let the man get his smoke on.

I’ve been gossip blogging for the past five years and this about the fourth or fifth marijuana story that I’ve had to write about Paris Hilton. Me thinks she likes the mary-jane a bit too much.

Just two weeks ago Paris was detained by South African police at a World Cup Soccer game pot until someone in her camp copped to having the weed. A hanger-on taking the wrap for a celebrity if you ask me. But this time she was caught with the illegal drug in her handbag.

Paris was held by police on the French island of Corsica for having less than a gram of marijuana on her person. She was stopped at the airport in Figari after arriving on a private jet from Paris on Friday. But being a celebrity helped because police soon released her without charging her, reports People magazine.

She’s two for two…maybe next time she’ll actually get in the kind of trouble the rest of would if traveling internationally with an illegal substance.

By the way….to get everyone’s minds off of her recent drug troubles…Paris went topless for the cameras while on vacation in Italy on July 17. You can see those pictures here but remember they are NSFW.

Poor kid. This story sucks. Dude gets some free time to go home and chill with friends and the local cops arrest him for having what amounts to about one joint on his person.

Here’s what happened:

The bust went down while Crawford and a buddy were chilling in a ’03 Nissan outside of Ringo’s Pub. (There’s no word on the friend’s identity, but it’s safe to say it was not Mexican travel buddy Tony Romo.)

Police allege he had less than 2 ounces of pot on him. One source tells E! News it was just a single joint. Crawford managed to spring himself just after 1 a.m., albeit not before leaving the Internet with that gift that keeps on giving, a celeb mug shot.

22 year-old Joss Stone is causing quite a “row” across the pond with her very open views on smoking pot..and dabbling in other drugs. Although to be fair..I believe she has a new album to promote so a little bit of controversy might come in handy right about now.

She told Star Magazine: ‘I smoke weed, but I don’t think it’s really a drug.It’s more of a herb. I don’t regret saying that at all. I think everyone smokes weed and people who say they don’t are lying!’

Joss said that her parents were aware that she still smoked the drug regularly but that they didn’t mind because, ‘they smoked weed when they were younger’. She dismissed the dangers of cannabis, despite ministers upgrading the drug from a class C to class B drug last year saying it was ‘like having a drink’.

Asked if she smoked everyday she replied: ‘It depends if I’m working, and on what song. And whether it’s a smoking studio or not! It’s like having a drink. Weed has been given this evil stamp, but how is it dangerous? It’s going to make you laugh your arse off? You might go to sleep? I think alcohol is much more harmful. People beat the f**k out of each other on alcohol. But I don’t smoke weed all day long. I live in Devon and hardly ever go to clubs. When I do, I’ll drink three or four beers then move on to a vodka. I don’t want to take all those horrible drugs. Although some sound fun, so I might dabble now and then!’

She was unapologetic about her outburst adding: ‘I’m very honest and I’ve been punished for that over and over again. Every time I say what I think I get s*** for it. But that won’t stop me from being an honest person.’
