Madonna’s New Dolce & Gabbana Fall-Winter 2010-2011 Ad CampaignPosted on: July 6, 2010
Dolce & Gabbana released the pictures from their Fall-Winter 2010/2011 ad campaign today. It’s getting mixed reviews. It features a very photoshopped Madge in a series of pictures posing as a character from the Italian film “Mamma Roma“. Including shots at a family lunch, a bedroom scene and various and sundry other scenarios, i.e. the chicken picture. WTH? Stefano Gabbana told press, “We wanted to continue pushing our current message that shows fashion’s more human nature and our heritage. This is yet another tassel of that mosaic. We believe the campaign is comforting and that people will somehow identify themselves in the images, which again display a more human and approachable side of Madonna.” Alot of people wish D&G would get over their obsession with Madonna and go back to the young and beautiful. But I disagree. Mostly because I grew up wanting to be Madonna and now I enjoy watching her fierce battle with nature to stay young and her ever-evolving pillow face. Share This:
Paulina Porizkova Slams Heidi Montag, Madonna and Kate HudsonPosted on: April 22, 2010
Kate Hudson, Heidi Montag and even Madonna have drawn criticism from 80′s supermodel Paula Porizkova, who says she was “heartbroken” by before-and-after images of them.
I get slamming on Heidi Montag and Madonna. They look like franken-versions of their former selves anymore. But come on, Paula Porizkova….get off Kate Hudson’s ass. First of all..we don’t even know for sure if she had any plastic surgery and if she did she had the smallest breast augmentation ever. On Kate Hudson: “The before: an amazingly fit, gorgeous, small-breasted young woman in a to-die-for red bikini; in the other, a blond starlet sipping a latte,” she writes. “The cup size was undeniably different..If big boobs make her happier, then more power to her,” she continues. But it’s “so much a sign of our times, and one that truly saddens me,” she adds. Praising “elegant, feline sexiness” of classic movie stars / models Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn, Porizkova also slammed Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery. “Comparing these natural beauties to someone like Heidi Montag is like comparing a Hastens Swedish handmade mattress to a cheap plastic pool float.” On Madonna she commented, “Madonna no longer looks like Madonna: what started as a sexy, well shaped, and somewhat hairy girl ended as a cool Nordic blonde. She is starting to sort of melt away into the stew.” Share This:

Gwyneth Paltrow Wants Revenge Against MadonnaPosted on: April 6, 2010
At least that’s my educated guess as to whom she is speaking of in this months issue of Vogue. Gwyneth Paltrow admits that she can be the ice queen most people think she is and hints at some bad feelings from her former bestie Madonna. “Oh yes, I can be mean. I can cave in to gossip. I can ice people out and I can definitely harbour revenge. In fact, I’m having a situation right now with a friend where I’m feeling pretty angry. But revenge is corrosive and it doesn’t make me feel good,” she said. “I’ll wake up in the morning and think, ‘Ugh, I feel terrible’, and suddenly realise, ‘Ah, that’s why. I’m holding on to so much hate.’” She also fuelled speculation that the friend in question could be Madonna, who previously employed Paltrow’s new business partner Tracy Anderson as a fitness trainer. “Yeah, it’s good that she doesn’t train Madonna any more. It was too much. She keeps people waiting – it takes up your whole day,” Paltrow said. Because that’s enough to ruin a friendship. Having to wait a minute on your shared $700 an hour trainer.

Madonna Gives Lourdes A Role In Her New MoviePosted on: March 29, 2010
This is an odd story considering that Madonna famously refused to let her daughter accept a role in a Harry Potter movie back in 2007. I guess she thinks it would be better for Lourdes to break her acting cherry in something more respectable. Like momma’s new movie about Edward VIII. Madge starts shooting the flick about Edward VIII in London this summer and a source said: “She’s arranged a small role for Lourdes. It’s not a significant part but it will give her a good taste of life in the movie business. Lourdes has made it clear she wants some kind of career in the entertainment industry and her mum is more than happy to help. She’s already an incredible dancer, thanks to years of classes and she’s also been having singing training.”

Madonna and Lourdes To Debut “Material Girl” Clothing LinePosted on: March 11, 2010
Madonna and her daughter Lourdes are launching a juniors clothing line, called Material Girl. An homage to mommy’s 1985 megahit song. The Material Girl clothes collection will launch exclusively at Macy’s in August — just in time for back to school shopping! The price points for the clothes will range between $12 to $40 and there will also be shoes, jewelry and handbags. “Lourdes has an incredible sense of style and her point of view on fashion has definitely been an inspiration for the line,” said Jeff Gennette, chief merchandising officer at Macy’s Inc. I have a sneaky suspicion Material Girl will end up looking alot like Abbey Dawn.
