When I read that Mackenzie Phillips debuted the new $50,000 “refreshed” look on “Good Morning America” I expected to see a knock-out, at least ten-years younger woman. But sadly…no. If that’s what $50K gets you at her plastic surgeons office…then she needs to talk to Demi Moore. (See next post)

Phillips, last seen doing the rounds for her incest-detailing memoir, had $50,000 in Botox, facial fillers, laser treatments, hair extensions, and dental work. Phillips, who touted something for her face called Sculptra in 2005 and previously admitted to an eye job, said she isn’t trying to change her look, just demonstrate her new-found inner peace.

“I’ve no desire to erase anything,” she told GMA. “I’m really happy.”

As if the Phillips family saga needed to get any sadder….yesterday it was announced that MacKenzie Phillips half-sister Chynna has checked herself into rehab to deal with her major anxiety issues.

Months after MacKenzie announced that she was repeatedly raped by their father John Phillips, Chynna just lost it. I suppose that is alot to deal with.

“After much thoughtful deliberation Chynna Phillips has checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility for anxiety,” publicist Lizzie Grubman said in a statement Monday to People.com. “With the full support of her family and friends, she is looking forward to her recovery. We ask that people respect her and her family’s privacy at this time.”

UPDATE: In a statement to In Touch Weekly, Mackenzie Phillips says: “I love my sister so much. She was there for me, and I am here for her…She is so very strong and funny. She is going to be just fine, I know it.”

Although MacKenzie Phillips wrote in her book High On Arrival that the incestuous sex she had with her father was consensual…she told Joy Behar Tuesday night that she was mistaken about that.

“I’d like to reframe my word consensual,” Phillips said. “As I was writing the book, I thought, this word, it kept sitting wrong with me. But I used it for lack of a better word. Since then, I’ve been schooled by thousands of incest survivors all across the world that there really is no such thing as consensual incest due to the inherent power a parent has over a child. So, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a consensual relationship at this time.”

And before anyone starts calling BS on MacKenzie…she appeared on Joy Behar’s show with Dr. Drew, her doctor from the VH1 show, “Celebrity Rehab,” who agreed that incest cannot be consensual.

“The child is trying to make sense of this situation she feels as though the only she can survive it is by saying, ‘I’m creating it, I have some power in this, I’m consenting to it,’” Dr. Drew said. “When the fact is, the kind of relationship a parent has with a child makes consent actually impossible.”

Dr. Drew always breaks it down right. Ugh. Every time I read about MacKenzie’s f*up life and relationship with her father I feel sick. In fact, I have major love for The Mamas and The Papas and I really wanted to read her book about growing up in such a fabulous hippie family..but I can’t get past the daddy thing.

Every major gossip outlet is reporting that MacKenzie Phillips is about to drop a bomb on The Oprah Winfrey show on Wednesday. The One Day at a Time star has been struggling with addiction issues for at least twenty years and she told Oprah that her father, Mamas and Papas frontman John Phillips was the first person who ever shot her up with heroin.

According to Gossipcop.com, she also had sex with her father. According to a leaked copy of the book, when she later confronted him about it, she said, “We have to talk about how you raped me,” to which he responded, “You mean when we made love?” The two had a long-term incestuous relationship, the memoir reveals.

She also told O about having sex with Mick Jagger, in which he said, “I’ve been waiting for this since you were ten.” —- Ok..EEEEEWWWWWW Mick Jagger..you did NOT say that you creepy old man. (And I ADORE Mick Jagger so it pains me to say that)

Mackenzie is doing the interview to  plug her new book, “High on Arrival”, which sounds like it will be a good, if slightly disturbing, read. No wonder homegirl has been high for the past twenty years.

TMZ posted this picture of what the TSA employees found on MacKenzie Phillips yesterday. Three balloons, three ziplock bags full of herion and cocaine and 34 syringes. 34? Really? Do you need that many needles? At the freakin’ airport?? Drugs addicts do the strangest things.

And we have more details on the arrest. We’re told when Mackenzie went through the metal detector, the alarm went off because of a metal object. The TSA initially did not suspect drugs. TSA employees then began to pat her down — which is routine — and she became uncooperative. They asked her to sit, and that’s when we’re told the balloons and baggies fell from her waistband through her pant leg and onto the floor.
