Bits and pieces of Lynne Spears new book Through The Storm: A Real Tale Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World have been leaked. Some of the juiciest points of interests are that daughter Britney Spears started drinking at 13, lost her virginity at 14 and was using drugs by 15.

It’s not so shocking that a teenage girl would behave this way, what’s shocking is that her mother encouraged it. Lynne Spears encouraged Britney at 14 to date an 18 football player so she “would be more popular” at school. Lynne Spears also let a very young Britney share her bedroom with Justin Timberlake and pretty much let them shack up in her home. Excellent job Lynne! Way to go! Now see what kind of damage you can inflict on your grandkids.

The book also reveals that she knew Britney, then 15, was experimenting with drugs when she went to Los Angeles to record her breakthrough album ‘Baby One More Time’.She thought she was going through the typical teenage problems, but they seemed to be more than that, when the singer was allegedly caught boarding a private plane aged 16, cocaine and marijuana was found in her bag.

Since Lynne Spears has turned out to be one of the worst mothers in history, her book has been reworked from a parenting handbook to a memoir. Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World is said to be “a juicy memoir of a Southern mother raising pop stars in the midst of paparazzi mayhem.”

Barnes & Noble says the book is about how an ordinary mother deals with the success of her daughter and how the family (did not) cope with being thrust into the limelight.

Dysfunction runs deep in the Spears family. As far back as three decades it seems. Yesterday a 30 year old story broke about Lynne Spears driving a car that hit and killed a 12 year old boy in Kentwood, Louisiana in 1978.

“Anthony Winters and his friends were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve, she could not avoid the boy in the street, as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane. The boy died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. Lynn, to this day, is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.”

That is just one of the many tragedies that has darkened the door of the Spears house. That entire family must have been Nazi’s or Salem Witch Hunters or something that requires payment for in this lifetime.
