Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday early on Saturday night with her London gay’s at a G.A.Y. event at British club Heaven.

Brit was in the U.K. for several television appearances including the talent show X Factor where she met up with stodgy old Simon Cowell. The boys presented the soon to be gay icon with a cake decorated to look like the cover of her new album Circus.

Britney is now headed back to the States for a birthday morning performance on Good Morning America this Tuesday, December 2.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s ritzy London pub could lose its liquor license for overcharging tourists and non-regulars. The Punchbowl seems to have a shady history going way back. Madge and Guy bought the place from the son of a famous local mobster.

The two-tier pricing system is one of several alleged breaches at the Punch Bowl being investigated by local authorities. Customers apparently complained there were no prices on display – which is a legal requirement. It has also been alleged that staff offer reduced rates to locals. And there is no display of the licensee above the door. Customers said the difference was as much as 40p a pint.

I was all ready to hate Madonna even more about this, until I read that no one cared until the hipster locals started having to pay the tourist price. The pub is frequented by Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Barbra Streisand and you don’t hear them complaining. Just pay your 40p dudes and get over it. Madge has more important things to worry about.
