I don’t usually do these big picture posts during or after awards shows but there was just much FAIL at this years Grammy Awards that I had to share.

Before I make my snarky comments on almost everyone ….let me just say that Jennifer Hudson is like WOW! Weight Watchers hit a gold mine with her. And also..Kelly Osbourne looked fab. Everyone else…not so much.

Rihanna looks good to be as sick as they she is..although that dress looks like a bunch a pipecleaners wrapped around her. Kathy Griffin is busted up and needs to give it up. Margaret Cho looks good but she is just a bitch so she gets a thumbs down. Speaking of bitches. Lea Michele anyone? Could she try any harder?

John Mayer was trying to go incognito as Johnny Depp. Paul Wall and that Gulianna chick are way too skinny. When is someone going to get that girl to admit she has a raging ED? Selma Blair and Jewel are both knocked up and look pretty. Ciara was a major fail. So was Snooki.

Barry Manilow is old. So was Bob Dylan! That was sad actually.

The young ones: Selena Gomez looked classy and pretty..Miley Cyrus not so much. Kim Kardashian and Christina Aguilera curvy and working it. Although I have no idea why Kim was invited.

Seal and Heidi Klum look sexy and happy. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony look miserable. Katie Perry and Russell Brand were cute but the angel dress? FAIL!

Krystal Bowersox looked good, so did Eva Longoria and the Will Smith Family, Paz Vega and Florence Welch as always looked oddly pretty.

It is the Grammy’s and people always dress a bit funkier…but I don’t know why some of these chick were trying to out-weird Gaga. It just ain’t gonna happen.

I guess it’s a good thing that Kathy Griffin got a very public pap smear at the Palomer Hotel in Westwood, California Friday. Right?

The stunt was to promote women’s health awareness and that’s a good thing right?

Then why does seem all kinds of wrong?

It’s odd that even someone who started out working on a comedic career ended up falling into the Hollywood beauty pit. Comedian Kathy Griffin has always been honest about her plastic surgery and has even turned the pain and stupidity of it into material for her act.

Now that Kathy has a very unnatural flat tummy and sculpted body she is coming clean with just how far she fell into the pit.

In her memoirs (yes Kathy Griffin has a memoir) Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin, that hits stores next month..she talks about where the addiction to surgery and diet pills came in.

“What I can’t figure out is why I wasted time worrying about my looks. I am a comedian. I’m not on the runway in Milan. I was told repeatedly, ‘You would be pretty if it weren’t for that nose. You’d work more if it weren’t for that nose. Hey have you considered getting a nose job?’ You would think I had a nose the size of Texas.

Griffin also became obsessed with her weight. She would take back-to-back step aerobics classes, starve herself all day and then binge at night. She tried diet pills, and even took things a step further. “I am very proud of my two weeks on speed,” she jokes. “It was full-on illegal speed. I took it to lose weight, which is not very smart.” The result: “I just felt three times as hungry afterward,” she says.

Or course, in the end she found that a strict diet and exercise were really the only sustainable solutions to her problems.

I think I just covered the only interesting bit in the book…but if you care enough about KG’s life you can pick up the book in just a few shorts weeks.

Paris Hilton is such denial of herself that it would send any decent head-shrink running for cover. She pretends to be pretty-pretty-princess in front of the cameras …but she’s such an idiot that her behind-the-camera-life is always being put on display for public viewing as well. Think: lost cell phones, unpaid storage bills full of pictures of Paris in lots of compromising positions with lots of cocaine around, etc.

Real celebrities don’t usually buy into their own press, but Paris is so far up her own ass that she was actually utterly disgusted at an oral sex joke on Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List guest spot earlier this week.

When Kath makes an oral sex joke, Paris looks disgusted and says, “I never do that. My mom always taught me only ugly girls need to go down on their knees and do things like that.”
