The Daily Mail claims that newly single Charlize Theron has begun attending Kabbalah classes and wearing the faith’s trademark red bracelet.

‘Charlize is wearing the thickest red bracelet, which helps ward off bad will,’ says a source. “Kabbalah is not just a religious interest for her – she also views it as a means to more of a social life and mixing with the Hollywood elite.”

Insiders also say Charlize hopes some of Kaballah’s famous devotees – who include Madonna and Demi Moore – will help boost her career. Not to mention the Grand One. Tom Cruise. One movie with him and she’d be catapulted back to her former Monster fame.

Of course her people are denying that she’s involved and that her career doesn’t need a boost. It’s possible. She’s done okay on her own, but she never has quite hit that Hollywood elite status that all actors hope for. So then what’s up with that nifty red bracelet?
