John Mayer hinted to fans at a show at  the Hollywood Bowl this week that he wants a second chance with Jennifer Aniston.

“I believe in second chances! You might have been a pain in the a** the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base,” he told the audience. “Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back ‘come over’ — no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them.”

There were rumors earlier this month that Jen and John were hooking up again. One tabloid said, “John invited Jen to come out and meet him while he was in Manhattan. He told her he really wanted to see her and even paid for a private jet to fly her from LA. They spent hours in his hotel suite at the Four Seasons, ordering room service and drinking wine. But Jen’s been hurt by him before and isn’t prepared to go public with the relationship just yet.”

Jen has a habit of falling back on John ‘The Playa’ Mayer when she is feeling low or has had yet another big movie flop. And The Switch ain’t doing so good……soooo…..

John “The Playa” Mayer has canceled the last week of his European tour due to illness.

It was announced on his website today that: “After a sold-out performance in Copenhagen, John Mayer was forced to cancel his second show there on 5/31 due to illness. Regrettably, the illness has caused his remaining European shows scheduled through this week to be canceled as well (Amsterdam, Madrid and Manchester).”

No one seems to know exactly what is wrong with The Playa or everyone that knows is keeping it on the down low. His people say that he is expected to make a full recovery after returning to the states. I’m thinking STD…it’s about time for karma to get this dude.

John “The Playa” Mayer has decided since he’s embarrassed himself enough with his constant need for attention and validation on Twitter that the entire structure should be overhauled. He’s done with it. So everyone else should be too.

“Within in the last couple weeks, every night I think about canceling my Twitter account because I think it’s pretty much done. I just think Twitter as a form of communication, I think it’s over to be honest with you.”

Now though, the singer said the social networking site needs a facelift in terms of its user generated content.

“I would rather see Twitter be a cork board of links to other more important things, because it’s really sort of flawed from the beginning,” he said. “I can’t tell you how many times I meet people or I’m having dinner with people who write stuff and they get upset they have haters now, like, ‘Why do I want to invent more reasons to have haters?’

“I might as well spend that time making a sandwich or building a model ship or something,” he said.

“My challenge going forward is to basically disregard the need, the obsessive need for external validation,” he added.

My thoughts exactly. Get over yourself dude. Although I will miss your Twitter antics…it made for great gossip blog content.

John Mayer is such a..well do I have to even say it. He always promises to stop being a jackass but he never follows through. Even after that disastrous Playboy interview he is still trying to work his Playa magic on every blonde in town. Even the young trashy ones. John has been flirting with Ke$ha via Twitter. Over the weekend, he asked his fans to stop denying their own love for her and own up to the fact that they like her music. He then sent out a personal message to the Tik Tok singer.

“Dear Ke$ha, you have won me over with your tricks and charms and I must tell you I really like your song. Though I must add I tried brushing with a bottle of Jack and I chipped a tooth on the glass. Where might I remit an invoice?”

And because she is such an intelligent young woman she fired back with a line from her new song. Presumably because she could think of nothing else to say.  Although he’s been known to go for the dumb ones…this chick is now where near clever enough to match wits with the Playa.

“Dear John Mayer. Don’t be a little bitch wit ur chit chat. Jus $how me where ur dick’s at . x”

Leave it to Courtney Love to put John Mayer in his place. On the batshit crazy can handle the overly obnoxious.

Courtney verbally attacked The Player Mayer for opening up about his sex life with his former celebrity girlfriends…along the way she “insulted” him by insisting she would never deign to date such a douche.

In a recent interview with Playboy magazine, Mayer spoke candidly about a string of ex-lovers, including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson. Mayer most notably revealed Simpson, who he dated for nine months in 2006, was “crazy” in bed. However, Hole frontwoman Love was unimpressed by Mayer’s remarks – and has taken to her Twitter.com page to blast the rocker, who she would love to “punch in the face.”

She writes, “Do you ever feel like spite hate f**king John Mayer. Just to put him in his place, he’s a better guitarist than me but not better in bed! Say your (sic) f**king John Mayer totally throwing him around the room in bits and then you just BAM punch him in the face? good times…”

“Mayer’s a little bland for me and youngish. I’ll do young, but he’s neither Yale Harvard Oxford and he’s not really rock, so not for me.”

I think a relationship with Courtney Love is exactly what John Mayer needs right now. It just might set him straight.
