Nicole Richie was promoting her jewelery line House of Harlow and signing autographs for fans at Bloomingdale’s Sunday. While she was there to showcase her newest designs, most of the attention was on her new darker hair color.

Some message boards are claiming it’s a wig..but I’m hoping Nic is not one of those..because I like her and I can’t like chicks that wear fake hair.

The new color is so rich and dramatic that I find myself really loving it. Although for some reason the darker color makes her nose look much bigger. Why is that do you suppose?

The public has spoken, House of Harlow is a hot! Nicole Richie’s new jewelery  line has sold out through a pre-order system even before any product hit the stores.

“I’m so surprised and so blessed. This has been a dream of mine for so long.”

Although Nicole loves to “stack” her jewelery wearing up to 20 pieces at a time on occasion, she does have one special favorite from the line. The Starburst necklace.

“In the back, there’s a little star. I thought it was a nice touch to have that instead of the typical clasp, and I wanted to give people the option to have a bigger piece and a smaller piece in the necklace.”
