We’ve all known for years that Ricky Martin was livin’ la vida gay….but today he made the official leap out of the closet on his website. In a very personal letter to his fans, the former Menudo member opened up about acceptance and needing to free himself:

“I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man.I am very blessed to be who I am.”

“To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where [sic] born with. Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment,” he wrote.

Ok then. Sean Hayes came out a few weeks, now Ricky. Who’s next? Jake G? Tom C. ? Vin D? Don’t celebs come out in threes like they die in threes?

Queerty.com reports that the National Enquirer is trying to out The Hurt Locker‘s Jeremy Renner.

Their reasons, not because he didn’t hook-up with Jessica Simpson when he had the chance. It’s because he brought his mom to the Oscars, he likes showtunes, and he prefers to play “emotionally complex characters.”

Enquirer has a track record of attemping to out celebrities; Meredith Baxter, Larry Birkhead and Gayle King. They also published a quote from Renner’s old acting coach, who spoke with another publication some time ago.

“I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy’s boyfriend, but the fact that Jeremy is gay has never been a primary concern.”

Why does Hollywood try to hide homosexuality? No one cares. Ellen Degeneres has the most popular talk show on television, everyone loves Anderson Cooper and we all still believe Neil Patrick Harris’s character on How I Met Your Mother. Then again, Rupert Everett claims coming out ruined his career. And there is a reason that Tom Cruise, Vin Diesel and Ryan Seacrest are still in the closet.

Word on the street, at least on this Detroit morning radio show, is that Leann Rimes husband is gay. Which would explain why she went from sweet, country girl to brazen hussy homewrecker over night.

When the folks on the Mojo in the Morning show were talking about Leann being a heinous cheater, the were bombarded with calls from Dean’s friends and family from way back telling them how “gay” he has always been.

Said his cousin: “I mean, there were so many situations that happened when we were teenagers… He’s gay. He’s been gay since he was probably five … The family literally used to take bets on what age he would come out, and then all of the sudden he got married!”

And says one of his former dance students: “He’s definitely gay.”

I guess being married to a Big Gay Dean will drive you right into the arms of a married man.

Although gay sex-tape rumors have been floating around about rapper Soulja Boy for a while, as of today he has been officially outed on Twitter by his ex-girlfriend. And his ex-girl friend is actress/hottie Meagan Good.

Asked by a fan if she and Soulja Boy were still an item, Good wrote, “No, me and Soulja Boy aren’t together… That ship has sailed. Apparently, he doesn’t like chicks.” And, responding to a message from her ex, the actress/model later tweeted, “You’re young, rich and over-rated. You think you can have anyone.”

I freakin’ love Twitter. Yesterday we got to read Lindsay Lohan’s all night-whacked-out tweets and today we get this idiot fake gansta outed in the most hilarious way.

Wanda Sykes from The New Adventures of Old Christine came out of the closet over the weekend. Not only did she come out, she announced that she and her girlfriend got married in October justt days before the passage of Proposition 8, which has banned gay marriage in California.

“You know, I don’t really talk about my sexual orientation. I didn’t feel like I had to. I was just living my life, not necessarily in the closet, but I was living my life,” said Sykes, 44, while speaking at a Las Vegas rally for gay marriage.

“I got pissed off,” she continued. “They pissed me off. I said, ‘You know what? Now I gotta get in your face.’ And that’s what we all have to do now. They pissed off the wrong group of people. They have galvanized a community…Instead of having gay marriage in California, we’re going to get it across the country.”

Go preach it sista. I hope to live in a world one day where all gay people can get trapped in unhappy marriages too.
