I’ve heard several people say what an ass Gavin Rossdale is and what a boring interview his is..but I disagree. He was honest, witty and charming in this recent Details interview and made me remember why I had a such a huge crush on him back in the day.

In addition to talking about how he wooed Gwen Stefani in New Orleans and how he regularly plays tennis with Roger Federer…he opened up about the ‘experimental’ time in his teen years when he had a relationship with a tranny.

Details: Last year, the cross-dressing pop singer Marilyn revealed that he was romantically involved with you in your teens—an assertion Boy George first made in 1995. Why haven’t you talked about those claims?
Gavin Rossdale: I think at the outset there was a sort of fear—that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn’t want it to be part of it. It felt like a cheap shot, so I was like, “I’m not getting involved.” I’ve never wanted to appear closed about it. It’s not something I’ve talked about really because it’s always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It’s just one of those things: Move on. When you’re 17, Jesus Christ. I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of—you’re learning about life. It’s a part of growing up. That’s it. No more, no less.

Details: So it was just a one-time experimentation?
Gavin Rossdale: Yeah. That was it. You have to know what you like, and I know what I like.

Courtney Love takes her delusional world to the Howard Stern show. Just one day after Billy Corgan pretty much called her out on all her BS on Twitter, she told the shock jock that she could just has easily have been married to Gavin Rossdale as Gwen Stefani.

Courtney said that she and Gavin had an eight-month affair and she had a “vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time… We were like, ‘Let’s go spend our rock star money.’”

Courtney described Gavin as “lovely” and said she knew that he was with Gwen.

“Everyone gave me so much s— because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt….” she said. “But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed … something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know.”

“You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?” Stern asked.

“Everyone … yeah … and a few other people,” Courtney said. “We didn’t have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit.”

She is such a joke anymore and it’s so sad. She had the opportunity to be respected musician but she’s turned herself into a laughing stock. I’m sure she had sex with Gavin, probably while he was “dating” Gwen…but I’m sure for him this is more of a walk-of-shame-booty-call than the girl you bring home to meet mom and marry.

Mr. Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale will be guest starring on the prime-time drama Criminal Minds on November 11th.

The former Bush frontman will portray a gothic rocker, loosely based on Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, suspected of murder.

This won’t be Gavin’s first time at the rodeo. If you check out his IMDB page, it looks like he’s done more acting than music makin’ over the years. My favorite character he’s done was Balthazar in the Keneau Reeves flick Constantine.

According to an alleged girlfriend of Gavin, power couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have broken up. A source that was witness to this girlfriend’s bragging says that she has photos to prove that she’s been having an affair with Gavin.

In one photo of the two together, seen by one of my spies, Gavin and Gidget were in a tight embrace and sharing a kiss. It was also overheard by my spy that Gwen and Rossdale are caput and are planning to announce their separation after they are done touring.

It didn’t phase me to hear that Brad and Angie might just really be having problems, but Gavin and Gwen? My heart can’t take that.

Gavin Rossdale is a boring soccer dad now…but back in the day he was a wild child. Last year we found out he had a secret teenage lovechild and this week InTouch broke the story that he had a boyfriend in his early London club days.

Back in the ’80s, he was a wild child who wore black lipstick and partied until all hours at London’s underground clubs. And the most important relationship of his life may have been with another androgynous, hard-partying man. As In Touch has learned, Gavin had a long-standing secret love affair with Marilyn — a male rocker who looked remarkably like Gwen. “He was the love of my life,” Marilyn tells In Touch.

Though Boy George broke the news of Gavin, 43, and Marilyn’s tumultuous romance in his 1995 book, Take It Like a Man, Gavin denied it, stating, “I wasn’t dating Marilyn. We were, and still are, good friends.” At the time, Marilyn denied the affair, as well. But today he says he did it only because Gavin asked him to. “He was just becoming successful in America,” Marilyn explains. “I agreed to lie against every grain of my being.” Now, Marilyn wants to set the record straight. In an exclusive interview with In Touch, the British pop icon details the love affair that spanned the early ’80s. “We were together five years,” Marilyn says. “But it felt like 40.” (Gavin’s rep denies the story.)
