This blind item popped up on Lainey’s this week. Most people agree it’s about Courtney Love and her daughter Frances Bean.

You all remember Courtney’s drastic weight loss a few years ago and the mention of making her daughter pay for it with her own money sounds very much Courtney-like. (Since Frances has all that Kurt Cobain money.)

The “hindsight” comment probably  refers to the fact that Courtney recently lost custody of her daughter…again.

These are the things you get from your mother. Our perfect parent found a permanent way to keep the weight down – with a lap band installation a few years ago. At the same time, she thought she’d help out her little girl too. By pretty much forcing her teenage daughter to have one put in as well. The child protested but to no avail. And better still, instead of paying out of her own pocket, she insisted that the surgery be funded out of her precious’s bank account. Well in hindsight, no wonder.

Courtney Love is still living like a rock star and these days she not only trashes hotel rooms…she does it with her  16 year-old daughter. Eight hours after checking into the The Inn on Irving Place in New York, Courtney and Frances Bean had completely destroyed their high-end accommodations and caused $5K worth of damage.

The hard-partying 44-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain left dirty needles and used feminine hygiene products behind, according to sources, and also flooded the floor. “She caused so much damage in eight hours and wreaked so much havoc. It was actually kind of funny . . . minus the $5,000 in repairs,” one insider told us.

Talk of Love’s downward spiral has been escalating lately, but Courtney blames it all on the stress of losing more than $750 million from her late husband’s estate — but another possible explanation is the pills and syringes she’s been carrying around. On June 18, TMZ filmed her in front of the hotel, emptying the contents of her purse to reveal “a pill holder” filled with the sleep aid Sonata, “more pills,” and a syringe.

Love told TMZ, “I have not taken drugs in five and a half years but I do have a syringe in here. It’s for an emergency, [in case] I can’t see, and it’s very dangerous.”
