I cannot believe this story.

I’ve seen the 5 Browns on tv before and I guess because all five of the siblings are such amazing classical musicians my mind is not wrapping around the fact that lived with pedophile father their entire lives.

The three brown girls have filed charges against their father and their two brothers are standing by them. It’s a sad, strange story ending with the parents driving themselves off a cliff!

What a strange story. A tertiary character from the Harry Potter films escaped death last month when her own father and brother tried to kill her. What the????

According the BBC, Afshan Azad’s father and brother have been charged with attempting to kill her in their Manchester home.

Afshan, 22, plays Padma Patil, a classmate to Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the ‘Harry Potter’ films. Her father, Abdul Azad, 54, and brother Ashraf, 28, appeared in court Tuesday for threatening to kill her. Ashraf is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm against his sister. The case was adjourned until July 12. The attack reportedly happened May 21.

No one is giving any reason for the attempted murder, but maybe it’s one of those Muslim-you’re-bad-girl-ways-have-shamed-our-family-kind of things.

Every major gossip outlet is reporting that MacKenzie Phillips is about to drop a bomb on The Oprah Winfrey show on Wednesday. The One Day at a Time star has been struggling with addiction issues for at least twenty years and she told Oprah that her father, Mamas and Papas frontman John Phillips was the first person who ever shot her up with heroin.

According to Gossipcop.com, she also had sex with her father. According to a leaked copy of the book, when she later confronted him about it, she said, “We have to talk about how you raped me,” to which he responded, “You mean when we made love?” The two had a long-term incestuous relationship, the memoir reveals.
