I am actually starting to be a real Robert Pattinson fan. I am sooo happy to see him connect on screen with someone other than Kristen Stewart. In fact, the chemistry between Rob and Emily de Ravin in the upcoming Remember Me is so clear that Edward/Bella fans all over the world are blogging about it. And they are not happy.

Rob and Emily are featured in this months Vogue. Even the pictures capture their sweet connection.

“It was the most ridiculous experience. You’re trying to stay in character and you’re trying to walk down the street, but all those people keep reminding you that you’re not this character, you’re…”

“A show pony,” de Ravin interrupted, as the pair burst into laughter.

Rob also talks about what he learned from working with Pierce Brosnan.

“He’s totally recognizable, and he makes no effort to tone it down,” Pattinson tells Vogue for its March issue. “Some people were glancing over at us in the restaurant, and he just went over and introduced himself. And it does work. It dissipates all the attention.”

What, that’s not Pattinson’s typical approach? “Me? I just crawl under the table,” he says.

It is soooo good to see Robert Pattinson doing some real acting and not just standing around looking miserable and sparkly. Remember Me may  not be an Oscar worthy flick, but at least we can see that Rob is on his way to a real acting career.

Don’t get me wrong. I love the Twilight movies as much as the next girl. But I have no illusions that they are good movies. Or even mediocre movies. The acting is bad and sometimes Stephanie Meyers beautiful love story comes off looking cheesy. That being said…I heard through the grapevine that the Twilight: Eclipse trailer will be released as a preview for Remember Me March 12.

So two good things. Rob in the shower and the first Eclipse trailer next month.
