Less than a week after his DUI arrest, actor Chris Klein has checked himself into rehab. The American Pie star was busted on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles  with a blood alcohol level of more than .20…that’s nearly three times the legal limit my friends. This is is second alcohol related arrest, so I guess the rehab is a good idea at this point.

Klein’s rep just released a statement saying, “After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone. He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so.”

Klein was spotted at the airport this morning, flying from LA to Utah, heading to a rehab facility. That same Utah facility that made Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen all better.

Reality star Shayne Lamas was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol early Saturday morning. Maybe I’ve just been celebrity blogging too long..but this smells fishy to me. Shayne, formerly a contestant on the reality show The Bachelor, is currently starring on Leave it to Lamas with the rest of her family on E!. It used to be that just a simple sex tape was all the promotion a chick needed to get her career going, now she needs a fake arrest for suspicion of DUI??? What? Their breathalizer was broken???

“Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing. However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite,” says the socialite, who celebrated her 24th birthday just last week.

“I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.”

Stephanie Pratt is the latest in a long line of bad examples for the 13 year old girls who watch MTV’s fake-reality show ‘The Hills”. Not only has this one proudly  proclaimed that the show caused her to develop an eating disorder…that ended in her losing 20 pounds and looking like this…which in turn got her more face time on the show…

now she’s been arrested for driving drunk. Nice.

Law enforcement tells us Pratt, who appears frequently on MTV’s “The Hills was busted this morning at 3:45 AM PT in Hollywood.
She was taken into custody. Her bail is set at $5,000.

Charles Barkley is keeping it real in the most spectacular way. When CB was arrested for Arizonz for DUI yesterday he was so honest with the cops that it’s surreal. The coppers originally pulled Sir Charles over for running a red light, which he did because he was in a big hurry to receive oral sex from the girl he was picking up.

According to the officer who wrote the report, “He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat. He asked me to admit that she was ‘hot.’ He asked me, ‘You want the truth?’ When I told him I did he said, ‘I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b**w job. He then explained that she had given him a ‘b**w job’ one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life.”

Later at the police station Charles joked with one of the employees that he would tattoo their name on his butt if they would get him out of his DUI charge. It was just all fun and giggles for everyone. Oh yeah, and the cops found a loaded gun in Charlies car too….no word on if it was legal or not. It’s usually just the NFL guys that run around with unregistered guns so this one is probably legit.

Heather Locklear is not having a good year. She’s been in treatment for anxiety and depression and apparently her medication needs to be tweaked. Heather was arrested by the California Highway Patrol around 7pm Saturday after a random citizen called 911 to report her crazy driving.

Locklear showed bizarre behavior, driving back and forth over a pair of sunglasses on the pavement and revving her engine. After leaving the parking lot, she stopped her car on the street and stumbled into the traffic lane, according to the caller, who followed Locklear out of concern, Marshall said.

By the time the CHP officer got there, Heather had parked her car on SR 192, blocking a lane. The officer talked to her and determined that she was disoriented and “under the influence of something.” She was taken to the CHP’s Santa Barbara-area office to be tested for alcohol and drugs.

Heather tested negative for alcohol but the other drug tests results won’t be back for a few days. Too many Xanax? I know there is a CHIP’s tv show/Heather Locklear joke in here somewhere….you know she had some bit parts on that show back in the day for sure.
