By now you’ve probably already heard the Brittany Murphy was found dead in her shower this morning. Reports claim that cause of death was cardiac arrest. Saddest of all her mom found her. Just days before Christmas.

The troubled screen siren and singer went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, according to a hospital spokeswoman. When paramedics arrived just after 8 a.m., they immediately began administering CPR and rushed her to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m., a Cedars-Sanai spokeswoman said.

Murphy became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in “Clueless” but her best work came later in 8 MIle, Sin City, Don’t Say A Word and Girl Interrupted. She played the messed up chick like nobody’s business.

But the past few years Brittany’s acting career has all but dead…then comes in “the husband” and the real trouble starts. Most people have believed that Brittany was involved with drugs for a long time.

After appearing underweight with super-plump lips in the last few years, rumors have swirled about drug use and plastic surgery. Last month, Murphy’s husband of two years, Simon Monjack, was rushed to a hospital after his plane landed at Los Angeles Airport. He was incoherent when EMTs boarded the plane.

In October, cops got a call from neighbors complaining that a frantic Murphy was on her balcony screaming about gunshots being fired near her home in Hollywood.

The noise was found to be coming from a generator.

The skeletons are going to come jumping out of the closet any day now kids.

You knew it was coming. The extreme weight loss, the inability to keep a job, the drug rumors….Mischa Barton is the latest Hollywood Hot Mess.

Not only was a 911 call placed from her home last night and she had to “removed” …she has now been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold, also known as a 5150, by the LAPD.

Access Hollywood reports that she was then transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. According to the code, authorities can hold a person involuntarily if they present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder. As you may recall, this same code was used to hold Britney Spears two different times in January 2008.

The Daily Sun is reporting that Michael Jackson was taking no less than 8 different drugs at the time of his death.

The singer was said to be taking three powerful painkillers all at the same time. It is claimed Jackson was injected with the powerful painkiller Demerol – a synthetic drug similar to morphine – moments before he collapsed and died from a massive heart attack.

The Sun also claims that he was taking three injections a day of Demerol as well as using Dilaudid and Vicodin. In addition to the pain pills, he was also taking other medication as he battled to get fit and healthy for his comeback tour that was scheduled for next month. They included the muscle relaxer Soma, the sedative Xanax, anti-depressant Zoloft, Paxil for anxiety and Prilosec from the heartburn that all this medication caused.

That’s a lot of pharmaceuticals for someone who was 5’11″ and only weighed 120 pounds.

Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck continued on their quest to punk the entire entertainment industry Wednesday night.

Joaquin went nuts and  jumped on a heckler while he was performing at the LIV nightclub in Miami. The very bearded Joaquin stumbled onstage at 2:00am…oh did I mention he was supposed to go on at 10:30pm? After a few minutes of mumbling around, the bearded one jumped off the stage and onto a heckler in the crowd. Security had to intervene and escort the crazy man away.

I heard through the grapevine that Winona Ryder is so allegedly strung out on pills that her people are trying desperately to get her some help.

Producers of a movie that she just finished filming are trying to get her into rehab in an attempt to save her career, but she says, “No No No.”

It seems like everyone that was present the night River Phoenix overdosed has never been able to get over it. Maybe Winona should hook up with  Joaquin Phoenix and they can destroy themselves together.
