In a story that most definitely came from Taylor Armstrong’s camp in case her marriage ends in the big D..which most of us are betting on….Star magazine printed this glowing little bit of info about our favorite lip-injected housewife.

Star has learned that [Taylor and Russell's] infamously rocky five-year union is now being wracked by serious financial problems as well. “He can’t get the cash to flow lately,” an insider says of Russell, who filed for bankruptcy in 2005. “It’s a huge blow to his ego.” Taylor, 39, who recently signed a $6.5 million branding deal, has taken on more and more of the family’s expenses without complaint. “She just wants Russell to be happy with her,” says the insider. “Instead, he’s starting to resent her.”

I’d say it’s over. That whole marriage is about the money and the hotness. She wanted the money and he wanted the hot wife. No matter that most of America find her a bit scary looking…in Beverly Hills this hot my friends.

Here’s a little more financial info on Russell and Taylor: Russell filed for bankruptcy five years ago and the house they live in on the show is rented. Dude has been convicted of felony tax evasion and sued several times for setting up bogus investment companies and ripping off investors to the tune of several million dollars.

It’s a good thing that Taylor’s “little business” is raking in the big bucks now. Thinking back on season one of the show, it’s obvious that Taylor knew where her marriage was going and was setting it up for the drama to be about her divorce next season. Just ask Lisa …Taylor is one sneaky biatch.

The big news this morning, probably put out there by Papa Joe, is that Pete Wentz BEGGED on his little emo-hipster hands and knees for Ashlee Simpson not to divorce him.

On the other hand…TMZ posted some pictures of Pete out having a great time in Dallas over the weekend.

Who knows? One thing if for sure. Papa Joe has his hand in the spin on this split so anything that comes out is  not going to surprise me.

Kim Kardashian managed to get her huge booty up in the middle of the Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubrey split.

In late November, the reality starlet and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry caught a Lakers game and stepped out to watch the movie Burlesque. They then quietly went their separate ways, and by early December, Kardashian was dating pro basketball player Kris Humphries.

While the date seemed to be no big deal to Kim and Gabe…it pissed Halle OFF.

“Halle was very upset,” says a source close to the actress. “She was upset at the idea of someone like that being in her daughter’s life. She did not want a reality star in Nahla’s life. She was very aggravated.”

“Halle couldn’t care less who Gabriel dates,” says this source. “She just didn’t want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star.”

I can understand that. I mean who wants their ex and kids getting Kardashian cooties? Gabe’s people say there was never any chance that he would take his daughter around Kim or her constant cameras but somehow the time he spent with Kim has become an issue in the dirty custody battle over Nahla.

And the last sad celebrity break up story of 2010 is….Sebastian Bach and his wife of 18 years Maria Bierk have called it quits.

“We have tried to work things out for the sake of our family but it has become apparent that our differences at this point are irreconcilable. In 2011 we go our separate ways.”

At least this split makes more sense than some of the celebrity break ups we saw this year. These two were very young and living a rock and roll lifestyle when they met and married back in the day. They’ve grown up and grown apart and that happens organically all the time. But the John Mellancamp split, Courtney Cox and David Arquette split, Kate Winslet, Liz Hurley and Charlize Theron  splits all seemed like decent relationships worth saving.

Maybe 2011 will be a better year for celeb couples.

This is so weird! I was just thinking about John Mellencamp and his wife not long ago. Don’t ask me why..there is no rhyme or reason as to how my mind works.

Anyway, the story broke this morning that after 20 years of marriage John Mellencamp and his model wife Elaine are splitting up.

Publicist Bob Merlis declined to say Thursday if the couple had filed for divorce. Merlis says the Mellencamps “are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.”

He says they will continue to raise their two children in Indiana.

It’s always sad when a couple can’t seem to make it work after soooo long. But on a positive note, Elaine can start wearing heels again.
