All day yesterday friends and associates of Carradine’s were disputing the suicide ruling and then late last night his representative released this statement.

“We can confirm 100 per cent that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock.”

Rumors Carradine died attempting auto-erotic asphyxiation – where victims achieve heightened sexual pleasure by restricting their air supply – are backed up by a quote a Bangkok police officer gave to British newspaper The Sun.

The cop tells reporters, “A rope was attached to his neck and also to his penis”.

Kung Fu and Kill Bill star David Carradine was was found dead  by suicide in Thailand by a hotel maid.

Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body. The US star was in Thailand filming his latest film, Stretch, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder.

Mr Binder said the news was “shocking”, adding: “He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person.”

This one was a shocker…how do you make it to 72 years and then pull the plug so violently?
