By now you’ve all heard the sad news about the apparent drug overdose of DJ AM. But you might not be aware that the he was working on a reality show about drug abuse for MTV. In this recent interview with MTV news to promote the show, he talked about how he bought a crack pipe to to show how easy it is.

He said, “I bought a crack pipe … that was my drug of choice. And I walked out and I’m holding it … and then I realized after I was holding it that my palms were sweaty and I was like, ‘Wait a minute, this is not smart for me to be holding this.’”

DJ AM was found dead in his apartment Friday night of an apparent drug overdose. Sunday law enforcement revealed they found a bag of crack by his body.

Druggie extraordinaire Blake Fielder-Civil has admitted that he is the one responsible for Amy Winehouse’s life-threatening drug addiction. In an interview with News of the World, the recently freed from prison Civil says that he had to convince her to experiment with crack and heroin. Until that point, Amy had had only smoked weed.

“I dragged Amy into it and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road. I ruined something beautiful. Now I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.”

Way to go douchebag…you may have just killed one of the most amazing voices of our generation…so you could have a drug buddy. To his credit, he says he won’t seek any monetary compensation in the unavoidable upcoming divorce proceedings.

George Michael was arrested with drugs (again) over the weekend, but this time he won’t face charges. Sad, old junkie George was busted in a bathroom (again) for allegedly possessing crack cocaine and weed. It’s unsure why he isn’t in more trouble since this is not his first offense and the Metropolitan Police Chief has a no tolerance policy on celebrities with drugs.

“We can confirm a 45-year-old man was arrested in the Hampstead Heath area on the 19th of September on the suspicion of possessing drugs,” a Scotland Yard spokesman said. “He was taken to a North London police station where he received a caution and was released with no further action. The caution was for the possession of Class A and Class C drugs, cocaine and cannabis.”

Although Sad old George issued the following statement to his fans and everyone else that is over his antics, I think all anyone really wants to know is ‘What it is with you and the public bathroom’s dude?”

“In a strange way I’ve spent the last 15 to 20 years trying to derail my own career, but it never seems to suffer,” he said. “I suffer like crazy. I’ve suffered bereavements and public humiliations, but my career always seems to right itself like a plastic duck in the bath.”
