Ewww. This story is story is so creepy I almost didn’t post it. This very creepy German dude named Edis Kayalar has been arrested and  charged with trying to extort $100,000 from Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber over a photo of their then 7-year-old daughter bound to a chair and gagged, The Department of Justice said Thursday.

The daughter told her parents, who were unaware of the photo, that the nanny took the picture as part of a “cops and robbers” game, according to an affidavit. Ewwwwwww.

“A criminal complaint was filed today in federal court in Los Angeles by the U.S. Attorney’s office and the FBI stating that Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford have been the victims of an on-going extortion scheme,” Crawford’s spokeswoman Annett Wolfsaid in a statement Thursday. “This crime has been committed by Edis Kayalar, an acquaintance of a former nanny employed by the family. Mr. Kayalar threatened to sell an image taken of the couple’s then-seven-year-old daughter. There was no previous awareness by Mr. Gerber and Ms. Crawford of the existence of the photograph when they were contacted by Mr. Kayalar. The photo was taken by the former nanny as part of a purported game without the knowledge of the parents. The couple reported the extortion threat to the police and the FBI began a criminal investigation in the matter. Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter.”

That feels like a big pressure, especially when the National Enquirer is dying to get a picture,� says Cindy, who has two children with husband Rande Gerber.

�I am so aware that I don�t want to change the way I live because of that kind of attention. So you say, �Screw it. I am wearing a bikini, and I am not putting on a cover-up.� You just brace yourself for a bad picture.�

Umm..did I miss something or has Cindy Crawford, even at the ripe old age of 43, ever been seen in a bikini where didn’t look smoking hot?

Nope…didn’t think so.

Let me preface this by saying I HEART CINDY CRAWFORD. During my formative fashion magazine reading years she was THE BOMB. I totally identified with her because she wasn’t stick skinny and she managed to be the sexiest woman in the world and also be a brunette and I don’t think that had ever happened before.

I just wanted you  know that before I mention that Cindy’s now 43 year-old body is going to have to photo shopped to hell and back before these pictures will ever see the light of day. I say that not in meaness…but to point out that most real-life women have a few bulges here and there and still look great. If you saw Cindy walking down the beach in this hot bikini you would do a double take…but upon further inspection she’s got some excesses hanging over this strappy number just like most of us would.

She should totally do a Jamie Lee Curtis and publish some bikini / undie pics completely untouched.

Don’t hate her because she beautiful. Let’s hate on her because she’s over forty and still looks better than we do.

Or you can hate her because she always on vacation in some tropical local while you  are stuck in your crappy cubicle. Either way.

Cindy Crawford is French skinny in November’s issue of French Vogue. When did this happen? Maybe that crappy furniture she designs for Rooms to Go isn’t selling to well and she needs to get back into haute couture to make a few bucks.
