The Black Crowes frontman and ex-husband of Kate Hudson, Chris Robinson had some harsh words for Taylor Swift in an interview with Nylon Guys magazine.

“I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” he told the magazine.

He then ranted about packaged artists.

‘They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you…there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.’

It’s harsh, yes. But true. Doctored up studio tracks like Britney Spears dance-crap and Taylor’s country cross-over pop have no soul.

And in his defense…I’ve heard Taylor live…and it ain’t good.

The Black Crowes frontman (and ex-husband of Kate Hudson) and his current wife Allison Bridges welcomed their first child together Saturday.

“Chris Robinson and his new wife, Allison, have a healthy and beautiful baby girl,” says his rep. “Cheyenne Genevieve Robinson, 6 lbs., 3 oz., was born on Dec. 26, 2009 at the Robinsons’ home in California.”

Chris already has a 5 year-old son with Kate Hudson. It will interesting to see how this progressive ‘hippie’ family works out holidays and vacations. Maybe they’ll all end up living together and raising the kids together in a Moroccan commune.

Kate Hudson must be codependent as hell. Just four days after being dumped by Lance Armstrong for being “too clingy” and “turning dates into major family functions”, she was seen on the street sharing a passionate kiss with her ex.

As Kate returned to her SoHo apartment yesterday, she was met by ex-hubby Chris Robinson. And the greeting was more than it should be for two divorced folks.

“They were really affectionate with each other and gave each other a kiss which lasted much longer then a platonic kiss should last — 20 seconds, maybe a little longer. Without going into all the details the kiss was more than just friends. They seemed like something more going on and were very affectionate with each other.”

This doesn’t really come as a shock.  Since their divorce Kate has bounced from man to man in a desperate attempt to re-create a family environment for her son Ryder. And in between every break-up she runs right back to daddy Robinson for some hippie-healing. I say just get over it and get back together. Maybe if big daddy was around more everyone wouldn’t think Ryder’s hair is so strange.
