As with the news about Brittany Murphy Thursday afternoon, we’ve just learned that Casey Johnson’s death could have prevented as well. The L.A. county coroner said that Casey died of a complication of diabtes, diabetic ketoacidosis. Diabetic ketoacidosis is a life-threatening condition caused by lack of insulin and sky-high blood sugar.

Dr. Michael Baden, former chief medical examiner in New York City, said Johnson probably slipped into a diabetic coma, but people can usually be resuscitated from that in the first 24 hours.

“If you have somebody with diabetes, there should be somebody checking up on that person,” said Baden.

So if Casey hadn’t been obsessed with being famous, broken ties with anyone who truly cared about her..she might still be alive. Where was her fake fiance during that crucial 24 hours? If your fiance was so ill and you hadn’t heard from them in a day wouldn’t you be beating down the door to get in the house and make sure she was ok? If you gave a shit you would. Good job Tila Tequila.

Even before Tila sucked what life was left out of her, Casey had plans with ex-girlfriend Courtenay Semel to sell their sex tape to jump start her career.

“We had our own sex tape,” Johnson’s ex Courtenay Semel tells E! News exclusively. “It was either listen to our families and do what they say to get our lives back, or do it ourselves and sell this tape, work on our show. That was kind of our plan.”

Semel says they used to remind each other, “We can get the money. We’ve already filmed it—why don’t we just put it out there and we’ll just take the money for it. We don’t need our parents.”

Instead, they used the video as leverage when negotiating with their relatives.

“We used it as bribery on both sides of our families,” Semel admits.

“We laughed when we watched our sex tape because we were like, ‘This is the most beautiful piece of art work we have ever seen in our lives,’ ” Semel says. “It’s beautiful…When you find that person that’s literally your other half. We don’t care to show this. You could just tell how much, how in love, we were.”

Semel claims they were planning to release the film as a teaser for their reality show, which was in development.

“Our show could’ve gone after that,” she claims. “Casey and Courtenay were going to make Casey and Courtenay happen.”

Ugh. How disturbing is this news? It’s just everyday norm these days to promote yourself via sex tape. Or use it like a spoiled brat to bribe your very rich family.

The police were called to Casey Johnson’s house yesterday after a catfight broke out between Tila Tequila and Nicky Hilton. Tila and Nicky were fighting over who was going to take and care for the late heiress’ dogs. TT accused Nicky of taking the dogs to Casey’s family to have them put to sleep and buried with her.

Several friends of Casey’s have made claims that Tila is a drug user and enable the very sick Casey’s addiction to just promote herself.

In the end, Tila let Nicky (accompanied by Bijou Phillips) in to collect the dogs then proceeded to clean out Casey’s personal effects including tons of diabetic medication.

Tila Tequila’s fiancee and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was found dead this morning at 30, according to TMZ:

She died in L.A. We’re told the body was discovered this morning. Of course no one knows cause of death yet, but after reading a bit about her, I’m pretty sure it will end up being a drug overdose.

She was 30 years old. Her father is Woody Johnson – owner of the New York Jets. Johnson was arrested in November for grand theft — the alleged victim was a former girlfriend.

Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila. We spoke with Tila a few minutes ago. She says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila’s house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey’s phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.

I remember thinking when this chick ended up with Tila that she was wacked out and the end was near.
