Nicole Richie was promoting her jewelery line House of Harlow and signing autographs for fans at Bloomingdale’s Sunday. While she was there to showcase her newest designs, most of the attention was on her new darker hair color.

Some message boards are claiming it’s a wig..but I’m hoping Nic is not one of those..because I like her and I can’t like chicks that wear fake hair.

The new color is so rich and dramatic that I find myself really loving it. Although for some reason the darker color makes her nose look much bigger. Why is that do you suppose?

Maybe Britney Spears boyfriend/manager dude Jason Trawick likes brunettes. The pair went shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond this weekend and that big ol’ diamond ring is still on Brit’s left hand…so what’s going on. Are they just playing house?

I always thought Kate Hudson was gorgeous, turns out without her trademark glowing blonde hair she looks like…..this.

These pictures were taken in Okalahoma City on the set of Kate’s new film The Killer Inside so I’m hoping for Kate’s sake  that the thick chin and unattractive hair are for the movie…not a new personal look.

I’ve always thought that lots of “hot blondes” would not be so hot without the “blonde”. Brunettes on the other hand, have stand-out features that make them shine even without the “blonde”.  (No offensive to my blonde readers. I’m sure you are all gorgeous.)

The new Mrs. Josh Duhamel showed off her new look at a March of Dimes event with her super-hip coworkers…the Black Eyed Peas.

The consensus from my all on-line cohorts is that brunette works much better on Fergie.
