Barbara Walters Returning To The View For Barack Obama AppearancePosted on: July 27, 2010 | Comments Off
It’s such a big deal that President Barack Obama will be appearing on The View this Thursday (July 29) that Barbara Walters is returning early after having freakin’ heart surgery. You know she can’t risk leaving the Commander in Chief with crazy-right wing Elizabeth Hasselbeck who is going to drill him like an oil well about well…oil wells. Or a drunk Whoopi Goldberg who is going to be drooling all over him, kissing his presidential ass and praising his health care plan. The ladies will be asking questions about jobs, the economy, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and family life inside the White House. This is the first time a sitting President has appeared on the show, but President Obama did go on the show during his campaign.
Angelina Jolie Hates Barack ObamaPosted on: November 25, 2009 | Comments Off
Looks like JenniferAniston is not the only person that is on Angelina Jolie’s s#@t list. Apparently she hates Barack Obama too. Us Weekly reported about the political divide in the Jolie-Pitt household. “She hates him, She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise,” adds the source.“Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors,” Her political views are putting her at odds with Brad Pitt, who is a big fan of the president and even went solo to the 2008 election party in Chicago. “They get in nasty arguments all the time about it,” says the source. “She doesn’t respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won’t tear them apart.”
Barack Obama Musical Headed To London StagePosted on: January 23, 2009 | Leave a Comment
Listen people, we know that the entire world is happy that we have a new President and he has given some hope for the future..but do we really need a musical about the man? I mean, our new Prez is a tall-cool-handsome-black man and now British playwrite Teddy Haye’s is going to dork him all up with a lame stage musical. Obama on My Mind will chronicle the former Senator’s journey to the White House, and the efforts of his campaign managers to get him there. Playwright Teddy Hayes’ production features hard-hitting political commentary and pop, gospel, jazz and Motown-esque soul. The lameness will open in London this March. Is it just me, or does this seem slightly disrespectful?
Serena Williams Not Allowed To VotePosted on: November 4, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Serena Williams and her sister Venus didn’t help to get Barack Obama elected. Serena supported Obama but she and her sister are Jehovah’s Witnesses, a religion that does not allow its members to take in government elections. Serena made it clear to interviewers yesterday who she would have cast her ballot for if she had been allowed to. She says, “I don’t really get involved in political affairs because of the way I was brought up, and, being a Jehovah’s Witness, but it’s exciting to see someone like Barack Obama have a chance to lead one of the world’s biggest nations. It’s good. It makes my heart smile.” I know it’s a little strange to hear that a religion frowns on voting, but the good news is that means that crazy ass Michael Jackson doesn’t get to vote.
