The new housewife on the block is a bad girl.

The new cougar on The Real Housewives of New York, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, punched her 30 year-old boy toy Nicholas Stefanov in the face “with a close fist, thereby causing (Stefanov) to suffer a laceration below (his) left eye and substantial pain.”

40-year-old Bensimon turned herself in last Thursday after being charged with assault. Meanwhile, the boy toy says this is not the first time that Kelly has beat up on him.

“I do want to work it out. But what are you supposed to do when a girl is hitting you, just sit there like a punching bag?” said the battered boyfriend. “If I had hit her, I’d be sitting in a jail cell right now.”

That’s doubtful. Chris Brown is still walking around free riding wave runners and shit.

Christian Bale should be sitting on the top of the world this week after starring in The Dark Knight, the movie that had the largest weekend opening EVER. Instead he is sitting around waiting for Scotland Yard to come question him over assault charges filed by his mother and sister Monday before the European premiere of the movie.

A complaint was lodged against the actor by mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, at a police station in Hampshire yesterday. They have alleged that Bale “lashed out” at them on Sunday night at central London’s Dorchester Hotel.

A source told The Sun: “It would have been wrong to wreck the premiere over a complaint which we do not yet know is founded in truth. Mr Bale will be contacted at the earliest opportunity and be asked to provide an account of what happened.”

“Lashed out” is a pretty vague description. Maybe he was just yelling at them to stop nagging and getting up in business before a major movie premiere. Who among us hasn’t told our mom to back off during a paticularly stressful situation?

UPDDATE: Christian voluntarily turned himself in at a police station in Belgravia. He is in custody now and being questioned

“A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.”
