Just a few days before Cameron Diaz announced to the world that she is totally Alex Rodriguez’s totally whipped girlfriend by feeding  him finger foods at the Super Bowl…they were in Miami enjoying the sunshine.

For once I can honestly say that I do not in any way envy this celebrity bikini body.

This is the best news I’ve heard in a while.

Kate Hudson is finally over her meatheaded jock boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez. I hated them together. They didn’t match…she was starting to lose some of her cool boho-hippie-chick vibe that makes her who she is. We are all used to her man-hopping but she usually sticks with the more creative musician/suffering actor type.

Hudson, was mum when asked about the slugger, the Late Show With David Letterman last Thursday.

“You’re a big Yankees fan, and you’re friends with Alex Rodriguez,” Letterman asked the Nine star. She nervously laughed. “Yeah, he’s a friend of mine,” she said. “Nice guy.”

It’s always interesting to see who Kate hooks up with  up. As long as she stays away athletes and John Mayer, I’m cool.

According to the NY Daily News…Kate Hudson ran in fear when Madonna showed up at the Veuve Clicquot’s Manhatten Polo Classic last Saturday. Was Kate running from the odd-mummy-like-skin on Madge’s face or those creepy old, vieny granny hands? Neither. She was worried that the buff 50 year-old was kick her ass for dating her ex-boyfriend. If you ask me it’s much ado about nothing. We are talking about Alex Rodriguez…I mean they could both do waaay better.

“Kate was completely intimidated by Madonna,” said one guest. “She clearly didn’t want trouble and decided to keep a low profile for the rest of the match.” Said a second guest, “I didn’t even see Kate Hudson again after Madonna arrived. She ran away! But if I were dating Madonna’s ex, I’d be scared, too!”

While Hudson hung out in the back of the tent, Madonna rocked her royal status. After showing up in a black Mercedes-Benz with several NYPD escorts, she held court with boy toy Jesus Luz, her kids Rocco Ritchie and David Banda, as well as pals Marc Jacobs, Lorenzo Martone and photographer Steven Klein.”Madonna literally didn’t care,” said a third eyewitness.”She showed up with no makeup, a dowdy [denim] outfit and her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She doesn’t need to compete with Kate, because she will always be Queen Bee.”

Last November, not long after Alex Rodriguez’s relationship with Madonna fizzled and died, he was rumored to be hooking up with Kate Hudson in Miami.  Those rumors quickly died down and we all started gossiping about Kate’s recent weight gain instead. But now the A-Rod/KHud rumors are buzzing again after she was seen cheering him on at the new Yankee Stadium last Friday.

The blond, Los Angeles-born actress — who met A-Rod at the reopening of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach last November — was photographed at Friday’s game, cheering on the Bronx Bombers at the new Yankee Stadium.But the real action came later that night at Mustang Grill on Second Avenue. Our source said a bartender at the Southwestern joint at 85th Street “was asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out.”

“Yes, they were here together,” the server told us, although she did not witness any lip-lock herself.

Another source said the two were spotted over the weekend outside the glamorous 15 Central Park West, where A-Rod rents an apartment.

I said it back in November and I’ll say it again. I do not like this celeb hook-up. There is something really creepy about Kate

Hudson picking up on Madonna’s sloppy seconds.

Kristin Davis, the Manhattan madam who gained notoriety by supplying Eliot Spitzer with hookers was also hooking-up Alex Rodriguez with girls. So A-Rod was paying for sex..that’s not really such a shocker. What’s so crazy is that the big time Madam was dating A-Rod for free! And he was totally into her. Girls who used to work for the agency leaked some info to the New York Daily News, including some hot and racy emails.

A-Rod was a repeat customer at one of Kristen Davis’ three Manhattan agencies and hired prostitutes more than half-dozen times. But the girl he really wanted was the boss lady.

In an e-mail exchange provided to The News by a former booker for Davis’ Wicked Models, Rodriguez purportedly told Davis on Nov. 17, 2006: “Thanks for setting me up with Samantha. She was gorgeous. But she is not you. When can I see you you are gorgeous . . .”

The exchange goes on:

Davis: “Hi Alex. You don’t want to see me. I’m no fun. lol. Just because your (sic) so sweet, here are some pics of me and I appreciate the compliments. Your (sic) a doll. Thanks, Kristin”

Rodriguez: “You have been playing hard to get for a year now, your (sic) killing me.”

Davis: “It’s not playing I am hard to get. Maybe you should try harder.”

Rodriguez: “Kristin, I definitely will and I love the pics. I put the one on my cell so I can look at you all the time. Alex.”

Davis: “You are too sweet. I’ll let you know when I get someone you like.”
