The report says that Mellencamp and Ryan were spotted walking arm-in-arm in New York in October, and that Ryan has dropped in backstage at a few of Mellencamp’s shows on his most recent tour.

Perhaps business involved, too; Mellencamp said he was working on a musical, ‘Ghost Brothers of Darkling County,’ and that Ryan was one of the actors involved, along with Elvis Costello and Matthew McConaughey.

Star magazine reported this several months ago, but since they are 99% full of crap I just ignored it. But they may have had the first scoop on what broke up the 17 year marriage between Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus. And his name is Bret Michaels!!!!

Us Weekly is reporting the story today so there is most likely truth behind the tale that when Billy Ray learned of it Tish’s affair with Bret- as well as at least one other fling – he filed for divorce.

Michaels, 47, “became close to the entire family” this past February when he and Miley released the racy duet “Nothing to Lose,” an insider tells Us Weekly. He and Tish, 43, soon began carrying on an on-the-sly romance, sources tell Us Weekly.

Tish was seen at Michaels’ Feb. 28 show at the Key Club in L.A., and he had once asked her production company’s help to adapt his book, Roses & Thorns, into a movie.

I know they are grown people and these things happen…but something skews ‘creepy’ about this hook-up to me. *Shutter*

I don’t always believe what I read from Star magazine but this story makes perfect sense. When the news broke that Al and Tipper Gore were getting divorced after being married for 40 years I knew something was up.

People who have been together for four decades do not split up just because momma spends too much money shopping or daddy spends too much time on the golf course. They split up because there is another woman.

The reason they are divorcing, at least according to Star Magazine is that Al has been spreading his carbon footprint with Laurie David, who is the ex-wife of Larry David.

“Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers,” an insider tells Star. “It couldn’t be avoided.”

Meanwhile….Larry David is laughing his ass off and happy to rid of the biatch that cheated on him three years ago with the caretaker of their Martha’s Vineyard home.

According to the New York Daily News, Oprah is not gay. Or at least she wasn’t in the 1970′s. And…she like white boys. NYDN obtained an expert from Kitty Kelley’s soon-to-be-released tell-all, Oprah and ex-Entertainment Tonight host, John Test had a steamy affair while they were both living in the Tennessee in the 70′s.

But the white boy panicked and  abandoned Winfrey in the middle of the night after caving to “social pressures” on interracial couples, which injected tension into their relationship, Kelley has claimed.

“He said one night he looked down and saw his white body next to her black body and couldn’t take it anymore,” a Tesh ex reportedly told Kelley. He walked out in the middle of the night… He told me he later felt very guilty about it.”

The highly anticipated biography, which is due out on Tuesday, also includes the claim that Oprah’s mother, Vernita, has to call the mogul’s personal assistant and leave a message before speaking with her daughter.
